Helibird
The Helibird Parrots are a species of Jungle Buddies found in Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat. They are a group of birds that work like helicopters, carrying Donkey Kong to higher places. They appear frequently throughout the game, mostly in tree areas. In one level, Donkey Kong and the Helibirds have to race a Chopperbird. In another level, Donkey Kong has an air race with a group of Ninjapes, each of which has their own Helibird. A Helibird delivers Donkey Kong to his battle with the Cactus King and Ghastly King.
Trophy Information from Super Smash Bros. Brawl
A bird that helps Donkey Kong by carrying him with its feet and flying up to higher areas. These beautiful birds feature big, decorated wings and unique coloring. A certain Strawberry Kingdom is home to a Helibird nest populated only by Helibirds.

- The name Helibird is a combination of "helicopter" and "bird."
- Hoot the Owl has the same function as the Heliberds in Super Mario 64.
