Re: More Mario Series Recommendations
I've actually been debating for the past few days as to whether or not the Mini and Mega Mushrooms should even be there. Your advice was just what I needed to tell me which way to go. ;) Thanks. Also, since I'm moving Coin up to items, should I add a section for the different type of Switches in the Marioverse? I would think that they're notable enough, but I'd like some extra input. — Stooben Rooben 13:12, 4 December 2008 (EST)
- Actually, let me take part of that back. (I'm still waking up, so please bear with me.) What if I just rewrote the Mini and Mega Mushrooms' sections to make it sound like they aren't rare? They have appeared in quite a few games, which I did write. I think I just worded some of their sections wrong. I'm still all for moving Coin up to Items though. — Stooben Rooben 13:26, 4 December 2008 (EST)
- Those are both great ideas. (Also, thanks for fixing the Mini Mushroom article. I never got to play Super Mario Kart, so I didn't know. XP) As for adding an entry to the article about Switches, I did mean about Switches in general, not just an entry about each Switch. Again, I worded things wrong! The Poison Mushroom is a better idea actually, too. Thanks. I appreciate all the advice you've given me. — Stooben Rooben 13:50, 4 December 2008 (EST)
Mario is Missing! Articles
Hey SoS, thanks for fixing grammar in my Mario is Missing! articles. Your corrections all make sense :P In case you want to have a look at my older articles, here you are: Rome, Beijing, Nairobi, Moscow and San Francisco, as well as the associated landmarks... again, thanks! Proposal Comment
I'm sorry my comment about "stinky attitudes" offended you. I didn't mean that people who hold SSB in high regard were in any way "lesser" than Mario fans. I was responding to your comment that "if we say Smash Bros. is unimportant, then these writers will be less inclined to work on our Wiki, both Smash Bros. and Mario content": I interpreted that as people who refuse to work on a Mario Wiki just because it places SSB beneath Mario, which, to me, sounds like they are being stubborn and righteous. I have known a few Users here and on Userpedia who are very contributive yet infuriating to work with, and all I was saying was that we don't need more of them (not that I believed your proposal would result in a bunch of disagreeable persons flooding the Wiki, or anything of the sort). Having said that, I hope you do not find me a stuck-up snob who's a chore to work with, and I hope this little incident does not affect our ability to work together on other projects around the Wiki in the future. I generally screen everything I say to make sure I only speak in good taste, but it seems my tongue slipped this time, and for that I am deeply ashamed. - Walkazo 23:53, 14 December 2008 (EST)

Birdo
Hi, this article is about Birdo(The playable character), if you want to speak about another Birdo characters, see here Birdobeauties Oh, and the word: sex, seems unsuitable for the article, please corrects this.
Thanks =)
She :o isn't a transvestite character Birdobeauties she's perfectly normal =)
Officially, Super Mario Bros. 2 was a dream, so.. the Birdo from Super Mario Bros 2 ,doesnt exist =) Birdobeauties
Many other sources? ,well, only in this game: 1 Yup, she's a fascinating character! =). she's the best! Birdobeauties
In other games, she's female, so, the Birdos are (males and females) but, the playable character is female Birdobeauties =) Birdobeauties
But, in all the other versions, from Mario Kart Double Dash!!, she is female, also Jen Taylor voiced Peach, Birdo, Toad & Toadette in this game (Mario Kart Double Dash!!). =) Birdobeauties & (Jen Taylor is a girl) =)
Reply to the "question" on the Princess Daisy article
Reason being is that I was trying to "condense" it because IMO, it was a bit overly long. Nothing personal, but was it meant to be that comprehensive? I still made sure to keep the very important information on that article though. --M. C. - "Mario Gals" Fan! User Page | Talk Page 21:39, 23 December 2008 (EST)
Bowser Moves
Can't we just redirect the special moves to the table at Bowser#Special Moves? 23:07, 23 December 2008 (EST)
- Well, I was planning to change the others to tables as well... Whose idea was it to merge them anyways? 23:22, 23 December 2008 (EST)
- Yeah, I wasn't around then either... ugh, I personally don't like merges much myself. 23:31, 23 December 2008 (EST)
- Ok then, I guess I'll make a table for everyone. 23:33, 23 December 2008 (EST)
- Oh, I must've misunderstood what you said. I should see your example first... 23:36, 23 December 2008 (EST)
Banjo & Conker series article
Unlike what some of my edits may have implied, I am very much in favor of having those two pages.
However, the way the two articles are currently organizated is nightmarishly poor. There's barely any information, and yet it wants it seems to want to be ridiculously indepth (100% Item Collection Guide?). I say we should take clue from the basic way the Transformers Wiki handled their article about a similarly distantly-related, competing brand. --Blitzwing 07:59, 29 December 2008 (EST)
- Well, see, the whole GoBots/Transformers things is the opposite of what we have with Banjo/Conker. GoBots started out as a competitor of Transformers but it's fictional universe was slowing integrated into Transformers.
IMO, what we should have is an informative, but not too in-depth description of the individual games and the fictional universe, aswell as the real-life history of the series, and a section listing the Mario references (If there's any). We don't need to have sections on the characters/worlds/items ect. That's just filler. --Blitzwing 12:12, 29 December 2008 (EST)
Wow...
I just noticed you've made over 10,000 main edits. That's a milestone! Kudos on the great contributions. :D — Stooben Rooben 23:14, 2 January 2009 (EST)
- Man, you'd probably have close to 20,000 main edits if you had been nonstop active. Plus, you'd probably be a 'Crat! Thanks! I remember when I made 5,000 main edits back in September, a day I thought would never come. I was on hiatus for around 2 months this summer, which I had hated doing since I had been the top candidate for Sysop for a while. But, Coincollector got a well-deserved promotion during that period of time, so that's good. What I always found funny was that articles I edited months ago, (just to add a template or category to the page), I've came back to recently and seen that the article was in need of way more information than it had. I never thought I'd become so addicted to this site when I first joined. Now, it's like my favorite past time. ...Whoops, there I go again rambling. :P — Stooben Rooben 23:42, 2 January 2009 (EST)
- Yeah, sometimes it is! I agree. I've visited a lot of video game wikis, and they're mostly very undeveloped, poorly written, allow fanon, and promote people left and right. Kirby Wiki is probably the only other game wiki I've been on that's halfway decent; that or the Resident Evil Wiki. There's always so much to write about, even if it's an extremely minor game, item, or character. There's no end to the amount of information that can be added to an article! It took me a while to realize that, but I think that's why I've grown to have a passion for editing this wiki as much as I do. Once the Mario (series) article is finished, I plan to go all out with fixing up the PMTTYD articles. I seen that a good portion of them were really short, so I saw that as a huge project I could take on. Gus was just a project I needed to take a break for a while.
- Then again, it's not good to always do things yourself. Sometimes, I like to ask certain members to team up with me and work on an article. As of right now, I've asked Super-Yoshi and Stumpers to help me out with the Mario (series) article. You can always pitch in too, if you want. ;) Burn out? ...Well, you seem like you've really gotten back into the mucho editing groove, so I think you'll be around for a while longer. I know I will be! — Stooben Rooben 20:00, 3 January 2009 (EST)
- Wookiepedia is huge! I've been there a few times before, and was amazed at how much information they had on Star Wars. It would be fantastic if we were as big as them. I mean, if we were mentioned in a public book, it's very possible. With so many new contributors coming by everyday – even if it is for just one or two edits, and then they leave – this wiki is growing every day. The possibilities are endless!
- Then again, it's not good to always do things yourself. Sometimes, I like to ask certain members to team up with me and work on an article. Well, maybe not all of the PMTTYD articles, but I plan to rewrite a good portion of them. I'll probably focus mostly on the locations and enemies, and possibly some of the items. I'm not real good at writing articles on characters; Gus was a bit of an exception though...not to sound narcissistic!
Hey, that's fine if you don't edit the article. It's definitely not my place to tell people which pages to edit. :P I went to write a summary on the Koopa-Paratroopa section earlier, but my computer froze up and I lost the whole thing! I'll probably go back to it tomorrow though; who knows, maybe it'll be even better! :D — Stooben Rooben 01:43, 6 January 2009 (EST)
Banjo (series)
I've seen you do alot of work on that and Conker (series). Great Job! Oh and, I wanted to ask you, is it ok to upload images from the Banjo series that weren't licensed by Nintendo? Like, for Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, a picture of Mumbo Jumbo from that game? uper-Yoshi
- Ok :) Thanks. uper-Yoshi
Mumbo and Humba's transformations
Shouldn't the Banjo (series) page have the list of Mumbo's and Humba's transformations from Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, and Grunty's Revenge? I know some of them if you say if we could add it on the page -RedFire Mario
My Long-Belated Reply!
Yo, yo, yo! Sorry about the wait. Yeah, that sounds like a great idea. Splitting by media was an idea of Blitzwing's I believe, or at least, it was originally his and then I molded it and added it to the current organization policy. Regardless, media divisions are not necessary, and I would rather that we show the history of when a character appeared in one series in relation to other new series rather than when a character appeared in new media in relation to older media. Go forth, proposal away, etc. etc. You've been doing so much work lately, haven't you? I'm interested to check my watchlist and see what else you've been up to in the last two weeks! The Banjo-Kazooie Series article
- I've been noticing that you've been uploading images for each of the bosses that I made a section for. I should probably tell you that I once got in trouble for uploading an image that came from another Wiki website; I once uploaded an image of Dash Bowman that was from the Star Fox Wiki, and then R.O.B 128 discussed to me that I stole an image belonging to another Wiki.
And since those boss images that you're uploading came from the Banjo-Kazooie Wiki, I'm concerned about if you'll receive the same complaints as I did. M&SG (talk) 11:23, 7 January 2009 (EST)
- I only mentioned this because a few months ago I was uploading images for the Super Smash Bros. Brawl Stickers article, but some of them were actual artwork for certain characters. When I uploaded an image of Dash Bowman on here, R.O.B 128 soon told me that I had stolen that image from another Wiki. He did forgive me afterwards though. M&SG (talk) 14:46, 7 January 2009 (EST)
- Well the Mario Wiki never made any character artworks either. However, like you said, the artwork is free to use by anyone, and that applies even to the Wikipedia. M&SG (talk) 18:40, 7 January 2009 (EST)
Microgame Characters
I made a list of the microgame characters I can think of at the moment, and wrote the texts for a few of them. What do you think? --Grandy02 13:47, 7 January 2009 (EST)
- Thanks! I admit that I looked in lists of microgames to refresh my memories. ;-) --Grandy02 13:56, 8 January 2009 (EST)
Re: The 'Shroom
Thanks for the suggestions! Ironically, I was thinking something similar. I was thinking that people could submit stories, comics, or things like that into The 'Shroom. The problem I ran into was 'what if it's poor quality'? I think you solved that. I could pick the 'best quality' one(s) for submission.
I was also thinking of adding a section for each month called "Suggestions Box". In which, rather than going to MarioWiki Talk:The 'Shroom, people could create their own sections and suggestions for improvements or change for The 'Shroom. I thought it would stand out more and invite more people to make suggestions/complaints, rather than complain indirectly about the paper and its faults.
I also plan to crack down a bit on our writers. I was thinking that rather than giving users two, three, and four months to write their sections, I could do it this way: If users fail to send in their section by the deadline, then they would get an additional two weeks to send in their section(s), be it that they are partial or full. A little more leeway would be let in with the Fake News of course, but not much; the head of the Fake News has pretty much the same responsibilities as the Director, after all. :D Anyway, I appreciate your suggestions greatly, and I'd like it if you'd give me some feedback on what I had planned. — Stooben Rooben 22:36, 7 January 2009 (EST)
- Wow. With a strong mentality like that, YOU should be a part of The 'Shroom. :O In all honesty, I always felt that The 'Shroom was more of a job too. It's no different than writing for a real newspaper or any other job; it's just on the internet. Even if it does mostly have kids/teens as writers, it would be good experience for them to use in real life. When I applied for jobs this summer, I used the fact that I was a writer for The 'Shroom who always got his sections in on time, that I was a Sysop on a wiki, etcetera, and I got quite a few companies that wanted to hire me based on that information! Responsibility is a big part of life. Now, I don't want it to seem like I'm gonna be a slave-driver with the paper's members, but it definitely needs to be more professionally inclined for not only the sake of the wiki, but for the sake of it's members. ...Wow, that made it sound as if the wiki will be in peril if our writers fail. Can I word anything right? XP
Your idea for the suggestion box is actually a bit better than mine. In that case, it could even be a section that emails questions, suggestions, or even complements for the paper and its writers. If a certain message was directed to not me but another writer on The 'Shroom, I could forward said message to him/her. I'm actually liking this idea more and more.
Your suggestions for the fan work sections of the paper seems pretty well thought out too. Even the part about going out there to recruit new members sounds good. I really appreciate all this help. — Stooben Rooben
Well, thanks for having faith in me! I do agree that The 'Shroom has reflected on the wiki as of late, and it's pretty negative. Blitzwing also made the suggestion to me of making current runner-up Tucayo (talk) sub-director if I win the election. (:P) I think he'd be a good asset to the paper.
Oy, you're interested, eh? Well, I was thinking of opening up a sign-up for people for the fan section(s). I know Walkazo has written a lot of fan-fiction, so maybe she'd be interested in getting her hard work noticed. Not to mention how many others who have made fan-stories about the Marioverse and possible theories. All in all, I'd accept your offer for taking part in the fan works part of the paper and roughing it out a bit. It's very kind and helpful; thanks! — Stooben Rooben 04:44, 11 January 2009 (EST)

- SoS, your simply epic! Congratulations! uper-Yoshi 22:34, 11 January 2009 (EST)
Ditto :P ¢oincoll€ctor
No prob. Your new responsibilities aren't too hard. (I was kinda scared when I got promoted, at first. :P) So, let me give you a rundown.
- User rights management — Basically, with this, you can demote and promote users. When you select user groups in the right panel, you'll add those user groups to the assigned user. If you select user groups in the left panel, you'll take those user groups away from the user. Easier done than said.
- Rename user — This is probably the 'Crattic feature you'll use the most. Just check out MarioWiki:Changing username and you can click the 'rename' button to the right of the user's request. Then, you gotta move all the old user pages and user talk pages to the new name, and get rid of any double/broken redirects.
Other than that, everything else is still the same. It'd also be good to check out the Sysop Board as much as possible to give your opinions on things, but that's not really required. So, just keep up the awesome work you've been doing and there's no worries! — Stooben Rooben 22:56, 11 January 2009 (EST)

Thunderbolt
Hey SoS, do you think we should make a disambiguation page for "Thunderbolt" since there is an item called "Thunderbolt" and a move called "Thunderbolt"? SJ derp :P
Mario and Luigi's father
Hey, SoS! How've you been? Recently, I discovered a passing reference to "Papa" made by Mario in the Super Mario Bros. film. This is the second time that name has been used for him. However, I think moving the article to "Papa" would be a little strange, seeing as something like thirty or more characters in the Mario series have revealed fathers. I'm pretty certain about this - but I just wanted to make sure you would agree. Alternatively, can you think of a better name? Stumpers! 22:52, 13 January 2009 (EST)
- Doesn't it just, though? It's taking me all my willpower not to speculate just a little bit and name him "Papa Mario." Let's bring this up on the talk page though, just to make sure, but I don't expect any opposition (you certainly won't get any from me - I didn't know about the crown article). Stumpers! 23:04, 13 January 2009 (EST)

Hooktail Castle
I was wondering if the Hooktail Castle article was up to snuff. Do you feel it meets your requirements (for lack of a better term)? If there's something else you feel it needs, I'll try to add it to the article. — Stooben Rooben 22:08, 15 January 2009 (EST)
- I'm going to have to do some massive research for some of that, but I'll try my best. It seems like Grifty's tales to me are extremely vague or cryptic in some way, but I think I can squeeze enough info out of them (and the info about the Shadow Queen) to get a good History section. Thanks. — Stooben Rooben 23:36, 15 January 2009 (EST)
RE: Thanks
Hey, no problem; man. But yeah, was I still right in the description telling Kmoor01 to "cease and decist immediately"? Okay, so I changed the Jigglypuff article so that it uses the pronoun "it" considering that's what all trophy info, Snake's Codec Conversations, the DOJO!, etc. uses. But then I realized that this applies to all pokemon in the smash bros. series with one exception. So I wanted to get Sysop permission to changed all of the pokemon articles besides Lucario to avoid gender specific pronouns. Would this be okay or do I have to make a proposal about it or something? Bloc Partier's Warning
Isn't a warning a bit... extreme? Frankly, warnings should be handed out to things that can get you blocked, and I doubt that artificially extending the life of a FA nomination is a serious offense. None of the rules or FA pages mention that bumping is reprehensible, anyway. --Blitzwing 11:39, 22 January 2009 (EST)
- Okay. But let's say that this happen in the future, should we hand-out Warning or Reminders? --Blitzwing 11:55, 22 January 2009 (EST)
- How many days were left before the "One Month = Delete" rule could apply? Mebbe we could outright delete the Nomination page if anyone attempt to do that. --Blitzwing 12:08, 22 January 2009 (EST)
I never knew. And a warning is quite extreme for a small rule that is said nowhere. But thank you for telling me. I'll refrain from doing so from now on. And I didn't even think about trying to extend its life; I just thought it was going a bit low on the list. But whatever. I won't do it again. .

King Koopa's forms
Do you think it would be a good idea to have a page listing all of King Koopa's alter-egos on The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!? Yeah, there's already a list on Bowser's page, but with a seperate page we could go into greater detail on each disguise, and the meaning behind them. While most of them are essentially just Koopa in a different suit, two particular alter-egos stand out: Count Koopula and Koop-zilla. Like Robo Koopa, those two may be worthy of their own articles, as they were physical alterations applied to the standard King Koopa. Count Koopula was supposedly an actual vampire, due to his larger fangs and the demonstrated ability to transform into a bat. Koopa-zilla was an enlarged form of King Koopa, but not much else, so that form's notability is up for grabs.
Also, going back to the original question, what would be a good name for the general alter-ego page should it get created? "(List of) King Koopa's alter-egos", or something of that nature? -- Booster (talk)
I'll try to get around to it when I get home. A seperate article for each form does seem a bit excessive, but I'll see how it works out. At the very least, I'll create the main page, and work on the seperate pages for each form as time goes by. --Booster (talk)
I started King Koopa's alter egos, but have only filled in the first one for now. I like it for what it is, but am not sure how some alter-egos, such as Kid Koopa, would have enough content to warrant their own articles. What do you think? -- Booster (talk)
I settled on moving the list of alter egos from the main Bowser page to King Koopa's alter egos, and from there giving each alter ego its own article. -- Booster (talk)

Hey, Sos, can I create a sockpuppet for testing purposes? And if it's ip is blocked, will you unblock me? Caution! Your Buddy Bill was {}I want to check for a security breach in the wiki...
Hello? Caution! Your Buddy Bill was {}I know ur on...
okay, under the new uer log, there is a block option. i want to see if it will work for non-admins as well. Caution! Your Buddy Bill was {}The link is blue...

06:53, 30 January 2009 Bad-ass (Talk | contribs) (New user (Talk | contribs | block)) Caution! Your Buddy Bill was {}wow.
If u want anyone blocked can i test my theory? Caution! Your Buddy Bill was {}please
- I'm not entirely comfortable with a user making a sockpuppet for testing reasons. It's not because I don't trust YBB, but it could open a door that we may not be able to close. Any user would technically be able to sockpuppet for "testing" reasons, and there would be nothing we could do about it, because it would be discriminatory to a degree. The only option I can think of off the top of my head is for an Admin to be demoted to user for this purpose only, and see if they can still block when using the user creation log; then they would be repromoted immediately after the test was finished. In other words, we'd need at least one Bureaucrat on during the entire duration of the test. It is important to make sure that every user cannot block, but I wouldn't allow sockpuppeting to be a part of the test. — Stooben Rooben 16:59, 3 February 2009 (EST)
ok no breach it said only sysops and patrollers could do that. Caution! Your Buddy Bill was {}Ill look for more breaches...
- Well, that's good. It must be a system glitch of some sort. It's a little late to suggest this, but you could've let him block a random user as a test and then unblocked them if it had worked. — Stooben Rooben 17:02, 3 February 2009 (EST)
Robo Koopa
It seems that Robo Koopa (alter ego) made it to Featured Article status! I've never set up a featured article before, but I'll do what I can. -- Booster (talk)
Re: Patroller
Thanks! I'll keep up the good work! ;) .
Thanks for the support, Son of Suns; meant to reply to your congrats subject yesterday. --M. C. - "Mario Gals" Fan! User Page | Talk Page 19:47, 5 February 2009 (EST)
Hello
I am new to this Wiki and I was wondering if we could be friends. How are you doing? - Rookie (talk)
- I'm good, but busy with a lot o' things. -- Son of Suns (talk)
Oh alright. What do you think about the Nintendo DSi?
- Hmmm...I don't have much of an opinion on the subject. I don't know if I would ever get one - I mainly use my DS to play Game Boy Advance games...and Chrono Trigger. -- Son of Suns (talk)
Oh. I recently imported one (Play-Asia) and it's actually not that bad. I just don't like that they got rid of the Game Boy Advance slot at the bottom. It's quite impressive with the DSiWare. - Rookie (talk)
- I'm sure it's a nice piece of hardware, with the potential to create many innovative new ways to play video games. I just don't think I would allocate funds to purchase one. =) -- Son of Suns (talk)
Do you think Mario & Luigi RPG 3!!! will be good? Rookie (talk)
- Hmmm...maybe. The Mario & Luigi series does a good job of taking the Mario mythos and playing with it to the extreme. I've only seen one trailer, and it looks really interesting; however, the second title of any trilogy always trumps the third one. =P -- Son of Suns (talk) P.S. And please NO SPOILERS! =)
Mario (series)
I saw it. I haven't responded to it yet though because I was trying to fill in as many entries as I could tonight. :D I appreciate and value your opinions on the article; I didn't realize it was missing so much. (Despite being 98kb.) — Stooben Rooben 21:36, 5 February 2009 (EST)
Hai there. :3
Yo, it's Ryan. :P How are you doing in this fine day? Why am I typing like... 12pm where I should be school right now? Actually, I'm typing this from the library during school! XP Anyway, I heard you are talking to Stooby about that LARGE article St00by had made. I admit, it's very large, has a lot of info; but it's missing something. The space in the air is the missing info while the rest of it has its pieces. Incase if you want to know my progress, here it is: A tad slow, I haven't done much in the wiki... maybe except delete about 40-50 images from that other day, when I was VERY furious about those piles of unused images! Oh, also, I made a list called "Raw Data". You can read more of it here. I was hoping that you would contribute the lists. :3 And finally, the test room I have is blanked out, now replaced with some of the experiments that may be used for my own purposes, or to support the wiki. ! I think I said too much. ^_^;; Anyway, here: User:RAP/test Please respond back. :P RAP... Heh, you rarely go into the chatroom eh? ;o
Mmmm, "all work and no play" huh? (walks away) RAP...
Enemy Template
Heyo, SoS. I'm doing good; just busy patrolling, as usual. :P How're you? Yeah, I think I can make that template. Sounds pretty easy. Though, I think I'll put it in my test page, just to make sure it's what you want. ;) — Stooben Rooben 20:38, 8 February 2009 (EST)
- Would you be able to upload the red star outlines for me? Because, I don't know where to get them. — Stooben Rooben 20:48, 8 February 2009 (EST)
- Those images are perfect! Though, I thought of an idea. If I uploaded the outline image under the name "BlankStar.png", I'd know of a way where you wouldn't have to type in the entire image name three times in the threat section. So, I'll do that real quickly so you can use the template with ease. =) — Stooben Rooben 23:28, 8 February 2009 (EST)
The Great Hereafter
I just wrote an article for The Great Hereafter. My question is that in this episode, the subject of "Grandma Mario", Mario and Luigi's grandmother is brought up. Since she speaks from beyond the grave (through another character), I was wondering if that would still make her an implied character. Also, would she be seperate from Grandma Mia, due to her name actually being "Grandma Mario"? If you want to watch the episode for yourself to verify, you can see it at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8Eetlv2ado for part 1, and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2JV7z3a-PI for part 2. -- Booster (talk)
Like my History Topic
This Proposal about the game titles is similar to what my class is learning about in History. Anyway, 2 things:
1. SInce it does not say on your page, I must ask - what country are you from? I presume it's not the US, based upon your Proposal? 2. Awesome User page. 2b. I don't see anything explicit on your page... 2c. It sucks being opposed by completely biased views, huh?

Template
Wow, that is gonna be a BIG template. Nonetheless, I think I can handle it. Just gimme an hour or so to make it. ;) The other ones shouldn't be too hard. — Stooben Rooben 21:57, 12 February 2009 (EST)
Das ist Sehr Interessant
For some unknown reason, I wrote that header in German. On the topic of nationalities (I'm Australian, as my User page says in MASSIVE font), I was surprised you're from the US. I admire your courage shown by creating the Proposal, as you're basically going against your own people. Yeah, I find it very annoying seeing "color" and "favorite" everywhere.
Oh, I see. Well, I generally don't watch YT videos that are on people's User pages, unless the user actually describes why they're worth watching (and I only watch funny stuff).
I first learned about biases in History in the first year of high school. Yay for democracy. Better than communism, yup.
And... do you have a sister called Daughter of Moons?
»» Yup, that was a terribly pathetic joke...
Hey sorry to bother you but could you help me? I would like to know how to customize my signature, please tell me on my talk page, thanks.--<COLT> 00:08, 14 February 2009 (EST)File:40px-PeteySluggers.png
- Hi SoS. The whois thing says you are on and I need sysop assistance. Can you delete Regulur mario? thank you. Yoshario (talk)
Thanks
I'm glad to hear I'm helping the community. I hope I can do more of it as I keep editing! :) Shiancoe 09:15, 15 February 2009 (EST)
- Ohai SoS. You deleted the Game Developers Choice Awards article, but if you deleted that, you should delete the other article I made which was a redirect. I apologize for creating that article. :D Yoshario (talk)
Thanks for your support and the tip about the numbers; I always appreciate helpful comments. The way I learned it was that numbers ten and below would be spelled out, and numbers 11 - 999,999 are written as numerals(i.e. "One million" is spelled out, not 1000000). I typically use numerals like 30 or 50 when the article is talking about HP or other in-game statistics(since the game lists them that way), but is that correct? I understand you're one of the most experienced users on this site. -- Shiancoe (talk)
- Hi, SoS. Please delete the nonsense page, R4. Thanks. YosharioFile:Yoshi wearing mario's hat.jpg
Re: So very Chewy...
Ah-HA! I figured it was something to do with the Magikoopa. Silly little guy. :P And thanks. :D .
Possible sockpuppets
Hey, Son of Sons, can you check for the IP ranges of these three accounts:
- Youwasnoob
- Youwasnoob2
- Youwasnoob3
The first one was permabanned for blatant spamming, and the other two are possibly sockpuppets (I'm not able to see the IPs from these guys so that I can make sure their IP range is "DENIED!!!" from coming back in here). Thanks. --M. C. - "Mario Gals" Fan! User Page | Talk Page 09:56, 17 February 2009 (EST)
- Yeah, the original ban against the person was infinite, as I put in my explanation against him saying that they are permabanned from this site. --M. C. - "Mario Gals" Fan! User Page | Talk Page 10:18, 17 February 2009 (EST)
- Sorry, thanks for telling me. You may want to rollback/undo my edits. I was actually going to create a proposal today. :) YosharioFile:Yoshi wearing mario's hat.jpg
- Ooops. Sorry also, for creating Super Mario 2, and having it redirect to itself. I meant it to redirect to Super Mario Bros 2. My mind dozed off. That has to be one of the most embarrassing things that has happened to be on the wiki. :D YosharioFile:Yoshi wearing mario's hat.jpg
- Sorry, thanks for telling me. You may want to rollback/undo my edits. I was actually going to create a proposal today. :) YosharioFile:Yoshi wearing mario's hat.jpg
Proposal Extension
Is it possible to extend the deadline in case of a tie on such a disputed issue? It seems to me it would make more sense if more users could read both sides of the argument and contribute to the voting process in order to break a tie. Perhaps a 3 day extension would be good enough? -- Shiancoe (talk)
- I've read the message on the Main talk page you wrote, and understand that no extension is necessary anymore. But, do you think the extension idea could be a futuristic possibility in case of ties in proposals? Shiancoe (talk)
huh? a tie? what will happen now? Lu-igi board 05:03, 18 February 2009 (EST)
