Where is Game Boy Gallery? Even though it was only released in Europe, it was the TRUE first installment of the Game & Watch Gallery series. (And before anyone says it doesn't have Mario and is not relevant to the Wiki, it has Mario's Cement Factory.) LinkTheLefty 13:29, 8 June 2012 (EDT)

Where are the early 90s Game & Watches based on Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario World and Super Mario Kart? They were actual wrist-watches.

Fake "sprites"

The following sprites are suspected to be fake: File:DKG&WMarioSprite.png File:DKGWDonkeyKongSprite.png File:DKIIDonkeyKongSprite.png File:DKIIMarioSprite.png File:MBG&WMarioSprite.png File:MBG&WLuigiSprite.png File:MBAMarioSprite.png File:MCMNWSSMarioSprite.png

They're claimed to have been directly "ripped" from the original LCD game, but they have jagged pixelated outlines that don't look anything like the LCD pattern sheets: LCD pattern for the Game & Watch version of Donkey Kong LCD pattern for Mario's Bombs Away LCD pattern for Mario's Cement Factory

They're all uploaded by the same editor whose "sprites" for Donkey Kong Circus, Donkey Kong Jr. (Table Top), and Donkey Kong (tabletop arcade game) have been deleted for being fake.--Platform (talk) 08:02, March 31, 2025 (EDT)

Initially I thought these were simply mislabeled Game & Watch Gallery (series) sprites, but on closer inspection, that seems to not be the case. They're much too large compared to 1-3's sprites, and they lack the anti-aliasing of 4's. As far as I can tell, these are fully fan-made images. Can 'em.--PopitTart (talk) 08:18, March 31, 2025 (EDT)
Any "sprite" claimed to be "ripped" from an LCD screen is fake or misguided. The games did not use sprites, as the drawings were directly printed on the screens themselves.— Lady Sophie Wiggler Sophie.png (T|C) 08:34, March 31, 2025 (EDT)
These always bothered me for the same reasons, but I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt they were from G&WG. Since PopitTart says they aren't though, I'd say get rid of them. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 09:35, March 31, 2025 (EDT)
