The Egg Shot is Birdo's Special Shot in Mario Hoops 3-on-3. The move can be activated by tapping out a triangle twice. The sequence begins with Birdo spinning around twice as hearts display for cosmetic effect.[1] The ball is caught into Birdo's snout, then she launches it toward the basket as an egg. For cosmetic effect, the ball is trailed by hearts, and purple smoke displays briefly when it lands inside. Egg Shot is used the same way outside of the three-point line, except a teammate has to dunk it.[2]
