World 6 is the sixth world in the game Super Mario Bros. Special, located in the Mushroom Kingdom. Like World 6 in the original Super Mario Bros., it is set entirely at nighttime. It consists of two ground levels, a level set at the heights on treetops, and one castle.

Levels[edit]

Image Name Description

World 6-1 The first level, set in the overworld, featuring a very similar layout to World 6-1 from the original Super Mario Bros., with Lakitus and assorted Hard Block staircases.
World 6-2 A level set in the overworld, featuring many Warp Pipes, Piranha Plants, Buzzy Beetles, and Barrels, as well as various sub-areas both outside, underground, and underwater.
World 6-3 A level set on treetops, featuring Lifts, Balance Lifts, Flimsy Lifts, and a few Koopa Troopas.
World 6-4 The final level, featuring Fire Bars, Icicles, and Barrels under low ceilings.
