Disambiguation
The world called "Mario Toy Company" in Mario vs. Donkey Kong may need to disambiguated from the company called Mario Toy Company; based on this page's description and categorization, it appears to be conflating the two. --The Retro Gamer 13:24, 17 April 2018 (EDT)
- Late, but I don't see a need for a split. The levels in Mario vs. Donkey Kong take place in or around the company, so it makes sense to me to keep everything in one spot.

- But Gangplank Galleon (world) and Gangplank Galleon Ahoy!, which take place in or around the ship, are split from Gangplank Galleon, which is their location. This is the same case for Mario Toy Company, since the world appears in only one game, whereas the company is (at least referentially) present in two games, MvDK and MvDK2. Splitting the world and the location
As per discussion above, I'm currently drafting an article for the Mario Toy Company in general, to split its information off from information about the first world in Mario vs. Donkey Kong. If anyone could proofread it and help me finalize it, I could start splitting these articles off. As a side note, I found more small mentions about the company in instruction manuals and external material for Mini-Land Mayhem and in Minis on the Move, so I figured that'd help suffice enough information for the split article itself. This is something I've been meaning to address for a while now to follow up on previous discussions in this article's talkpage. As you might have noticed, Mario Toy Company's general information (such as its involvement in theme parks) is currently in the same article where information about its relevant world in Mario vs. Donkey Kong and its remake are put up, as well as redundant information like info about Donkey Kong's boss fight there that's already discussed in Level 1-DK, which is linked here.
Originally, I proposed this with a split template, but I felt this only is suitable for splitting articles that are too large. I ended up making a talk page proposal instead to accommodate this idea, as per standard with other split page TPPs going on. Anyways, I've been working on a draft to collect most general information about the Mario Toy Company and split it off from information about the MvsDK world itself.
This proposal is simple enough, so there are two options:
- Split general information into new article: If this split is successful, the draft will become the new Mario Toy Company article, while information about the world itself in Mario vs. Donkey Kong will be put into a new article called Mario Toy Company (world), which will now be formatted closer to the rest of the articles about the game's worlds.
- Do not split: As per what it says - don't split general info from the Mario Toy Company into a new article.
