Should Intellivision games be in the list of games made by Coleco?[edit]

Coleco has only published Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. ports for Intellivision, these Intellivision games were developed by a company named Roklan, as tolds this page [1] Pinwin (talk) 21:07, July 25, 2024 (CET)

Sure. Atari, Inc. only developed for their 8-bit computers. All the Atarisoft ports are by third-party developers. Coleco's DK Jr. tabletop is actually just the tabletop Game & Watch in a different colored case.--Platform (talk) 05:26, November 3, 2024 (EST)

Identifier for Donkey Kong tabletop[edit]

I'm about to split the Donkey Kong tabletop into a separate article but I don't have a satisfactory identifier for it. Here are some options:

  • Donkey Kong (tabletop) - very simple
  • Donkey Kong (Coleco tabletop) - easy to understand
  • Donkey Kong (tabletop arcade game) - this is something I've encountered most consistently when looking through Coleco's first party ads. It's seen in this 1983 catalog, 1984 catalog, this poster, and at the end of the DK Jr. tabletop G&W commercial.
  • Donkey Kong (mini arcade) - I've encountered it only once, on the back of a cereal box, likely from a third party ad agency. The modern "Coleco" uses "mini arcade" but it doesn't have any continuity with the old company.

If you have another suggestion, please share.--Platform (talk) 08:48, December 22, 2024 (EST)
