I believe Apprentice is correct, as is the name Chef Torte. This name is used to distinguish this Apprentice from other Apprentices. -- Son of Suns

This is another example of a duo of characters that are only seen together in select scenes, much like Cork and Cask or the Jellyfish Sisters, and in this case they are also identical. Their narrative role is essentially shared, so I think it would be more economical and pragmatic to merge them to a single page (ie "Chef Torte and the Apprentice").
