Battle plugs are powerful combat accessories used by the Mario Bros. and certain enemies in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. When plugged into “Power Taps”, their effects manifest at the cost of consuming their individual charges. This system is comparable to the badge system and battle cards in previous installments of the series.
