Rings of Fire! (or World 5-4) is the fourth and final course of World 5 and the twentieth course overall in Super Mario Run. After defeating fake Bowser, a cutscene has the player walk into the next room, where they open a treasure chest. On the first playthrough, this chest has the ten Rally Tickets for completing the World, represented by a single ticket in the course. On repeat playthroughs, this chest grants the player 100 coins, represented by coins spilling out and falling off the map.
Layouts[edit]
Pink Coins[edit]
The course begins with two Dry Bones as well as a Fire Chain with a Super Mushroom. The first Pink Coin is just up ahead, inside a moving Fire Chain. After passing another Dry Bones, regardless of which path the player takes, they will be led to the Fire Chain with the second Pink Coin. The player will approach a Red Ring and collect some Red Coins to get a Super Star. The player must then jump through a Fire Chain to collect the third Pink Coin. Afterwards, the player must jump up to the center and follow a platform to a Fire Chain with the fourth Pink Coin. The player will then follow a series of Fire Chains, with the fifth and final Pink Coin in the very last Fire Chain. Afterwards, the player will approach two more Fire Chains, along with fake Bowser. Just like in the previous two castle levels, the player must avoid fake Bowser and hit the ax, clearing the course.
Purple Coins[edit]
The course begins with two Dry Bones as well as a Fire Chain with the first Purple Coin. A Super Mushroom can be found just up ahead, inside a moving Fire Chain. After passing another Dry Bones, regardless of which path the player takes, they will be led to the Fire Chain with the second Purple Coin. The player will approach a Red Ring and collect some Red Coins to get a Super Star. The player must then jump through a Fire Chain to collect the third Purple Coin. Afterwards, the player must jump up to the center and follow a platform to a Fire Chain with the fourth Purple Coin. The player will then follow a series of Fire Chains, with the fifth and final Purple Coin in the second to last Fire Chain. Afterwards, the player will approach two more Fire Chains, along with fake Bowser. Just like in the previous two castle levels, the player must avoid fake Bowser and hit the ax, clearing the course.
Black Coins[edit]
The course begins with a Dry Bones. A Pause Block is on the ledge, leading into a jump through a Fire Chain with a Hidden Coin that turns into the first Black Coin in the middle; the player must then use the Backflip Block on the other side to jump backward and collect it. A Super Mushroom can be found just up ahead, inside a moving Fire Chain. After passing another Dry Bones, regardless of which path the player takes, they will be led to the Fire Chain with the second Black Coin. The player will approach a Red Ring and collect some Red Coins to get a Super Star. The player must then jump through a Fire Chain and jump off of the Hard Block to collect the third Black Coin. Afterwards, the player must jump up to the very top and follow a platform to a Fire Chain with the fourth Black Coin. The player will then follow a series of Fire Chains, with the fifth and final Black Coin in the very last Fire Chain. Afterwards, the player will approach two more Fire Chains, along with fake Bowser. Just like in the previous two castle levels, the player must avoid fake Bowser and hit the ax, clearing the course.
