Gooey Goons[1][2] are blob-like enemies appearing only in Yoshi's Island DS. Gooey Goons are featured in a variety of colors and hang down from the ceiling at different heights. Gooey Goons cannot be jumped on, but they can be converted into eggs. Gooey Goons swing back and forth and knock the baby off of the Yoshi's back on contact. There is a giant Gooey Goon named Gilbert the Gooey, who was transformed from Kamek's magic.
