Recurring themes[edit]
I noticed you added the Underwater Theme and Map 8 World, from Super Mario Bros. 3 and Fossil Falls from Super Mario Odyssey to the Themes template. Do these themes appear at least 8 times? --Conradd (talk) 12:19, April 17, 2024 (EDT)
- I'm honestly not sure, but what I do know is that after listening to some soundtracks I noticed that these themes do have some variations. It was just to make sure. For example, the SMB3 underwater theme has been remixed in Mario Maker 2 and Map 8 World has a similar arrangement in its remakes and the Fossil Falls melody was present in the Mario Movie. I just didn't know that there were supposed to be 8 arrangements to begin with. -User:Jude da Dude
- We have this talk page. Check it out: https://www.mariowiki.com/Template_talk:Themes. The numbers are for different versions of a theme (remix, rearrangement, whatever you call them). Many games can be put on the same line with a "/" if they are the exact same. In total, you need at least 8 appearances (could be in-game or other media such as TV shows, films, commercials, albums...). It doesn't have to be 8 remixes or 8 arrangements, just 8 appearances. For example, if the Underwater Theme from Super Mario Bros. 3 appears in 8 different things but is the exact same each time, that still counts. --Conradd (talk) 12:43, April 17, 2024 (EDT)
- Now that I think about it, I should probably mention that motifs count as appearances too. For example, it is well known that motifs from Rainbow Road (Super Mario Kart) and Rainbow Road (Mario Kart 64) reappear in pretty much every new Rainbow Road themes since the beginning of the series. If you think you've found a theme or a motif that appears more than once, feel free to add it to the list in the talk page! --Conradd (talk) 13:19, April 17, 2024 (EDT)

Grammar[edit]
Please don't run grammar checkers on articles without checking over what was changed, if that's what you're using. Your edits on the Mario page affected quoted descriptions/titles from other sources, which shouldn't be changed, and checkers are not infallible as they can accidentally correct "errors" that were correct before. Mario JC 11:02, May 15, 2024 (EDT)
Citations[edit]
When adding a reference, there shouldn't be a space before the "<ref>", it just goes next to the sentence. Mario JC 13:33, May 21, 2024 (EDT)
Italics[edit]
Hello, Jude da Dude! Thanks for your contributions. When writing titles for media like games, films, TV shows, and publications, please remember to italicize them. This is done by placing two straight apostrophes (not quotation marks or curly apostrophes) on both sides of the title, or clicking on the I icon above the text box and typing out the title. For example, typing out ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' generates Super Mario Bros.
If you are using a device that uses curly ("smart") punctuation, you may need to disable this function in your device's settings to be able to type out the correct apostrophes. |

Okay, I got you! I'll remember for next time. I'm also working on a page for Snoulet from the Brothership game. -User:Jude da Dude
Merlon infobox image[edit]
Hello. Why did you change Merlon's infobox image back to the three-footed render? Blinker (talk) 07:35, July 21, 2024 (EDT)
- I see. Thanks for the explanation. Considering the sprite was uploaded to the website by Fawfulthegreat64, I'm thinking of asking her about it before adding it back. Blinker (talk) 12:05, July 21, 2024 (EDT)
Huge changes[edit]
Please do not make major changes such as moving an article title or splitting off an article without any form of discussion. Even if there was some agreement from years ago, that should not be the green light to go ahead; a newer discussion or proposal should happen first. Nightwicked Bowser 16:20, July 27, 2024 (EDT)

Blooper (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door)[edit]
I created the page since the proposal passed, but remembered you had your own draft for the page. I didn't want to take the credit for your writing though, so feel free to add anything you think is missing to the actual page. Technetium (talk) 21:08, August 20, 2024 (EDT)
Ten and Shun[edit]
Hey, do you know where you figured out which character is Ten and which is Shun? Because I'm fairly sure that wasn't stated anywhere. Their names also don't come from the overview trailer - only Ecks's did (and we know which one is Ecks because there was a dialogue bubble). The other two names come from the British website, and again, there's no indication on which character is which there. Technetium (talk) 08:00, October 11, 2024 (EDT)
Brothership character names[edit]
Hey, just wondering where you're getting these names from, such as the IDLE members. You need to source the info you get since the game hasn't released yet. Technetium (talk) 09:41, October 21, 2024 (EDT)
