Move to "Super Mario Kart: Go! Go! Mario Circuit"[edit]

Based on the information provided by the article itself, particularly the All Super Mario page, "Doki Doki Race" is only an early name for the game. All of the advertisements for the proper release of the machine consistently refer to it as "Go! Go! Mario Circuit" (ゴー!ゴー!マリオ・サーキト). The only advertisement for the machine that uses the Doki Doki Race name, seen on the All Super Mario page, appears to be for a prototype version; the machine's design is noticeably different from the one seen in other ads, particularly in that the Mario Circuit version's race track contains multiple different environments, while the Doki Doki Race version has a single theme for the entire track.

While I suggest that these two machines are the same game, there is a possibility these are actually two different games, with Mario Circuit being a later or updated version of Doki Doki Race. The proper image of the machine provided in the article, backed with the video it is taken from, is proof that the Doki Doki Race version was finished, if not widely distributed, but there appears to be no evidence of an existing Mario Circuit machine. As such, while I currently suggest moving the article to the latter name, I would not be opposed to making a separate article for Mario Circuit in the event that conclusive evidence is found showing that both games were finished and released to the public.

That aside, what do you all think? Are they the same game, or two different games? Should the article be moved to what seems to be the proper name, or left as it is? — Keegster2 (talk) 02:52, May 8, 2024 (EDT)

Did some more research and I found this website for Banpresto arcade games which has what claims to be a prototype of Doki Doki Race which looks nothing like Go! Go! Mario Circuit. Further proving that they are 2 separate games, but I can’t confirm anything yet.

Here’s the website: https://thetastates.com/eremeka/eremekaDisplay.php?search=yes&company=Banpresto
