Obstacle?[edit]

Is Albino Dino really an obstacle rather than an enemy? Hello, I'm Time Turner.

Yes.--FREAK ~Game GameBros.png Freak~ OUT!

Beta[edit]

Could this fit into the Beta Elements category ala Drill Bit? NMRodo 02:27, 12 December 2010 (UTC)

Yes. Niiue - Who has lost his tail?

Albino Dinos (along with Dark Paratroopas) are actually fully functional. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=j82ADx-aMWg

Relation to Dino Rhino[edit]

Is there any official confirmation (aside from the English name) that they are related to Dino Rhinos? I mean, in a similar case, Reznors do look similar to Dino Rhinos, but we never classified them as relatives of Dino Rhinos (AFAIK). Besides, their Japanese name doesn't make any allusions to Raita in any way. --Ski Yoshi FanOfYoshi A Dr. Freezegood 13:01, October 3, 2024 (EDT)

I'd say that they obviously look like Dino Rhinos is proof enough. Either way, I'm not wholly convinced yet the Japanese name listed here is actually referring to these guys rather than the statues they link to. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 14:46, October 3, 2024 (EDT)
Wouldn't it be more safe to say "Relatives of" rather than a direct variant, for the time being? --Ski Yoshi FanOfYoshi A Dr. Freezegood 17:17, October 3, 2024 (EDT)
The name listed is explicitly referring to the Dinos. The relevant line is「セキゾーだよ / あの 石ぞうと そっくりなんだ」, where Goombario says the「セキゾー」(Sekizō) look just like the「石ぞう」(sekizō, "stone statues"). He also calls the dinos「しろい セキゾー」("white Sekizō") in the room tattle. Their unused enemy name and tattle also confirm this, as shown in this video. Blinker (talk) 14:29, October 4, 2024 (EDT)
Interesting. I still think it's highly unlikely to be coincidence given how similar they look, but given there's no normal ones in the game, it's hard to say. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 14:58, October 4, 2024 (EDT)
It's also possible that the Japanese name was decided before the Dino-Rhino design, like with Chuck Guy. LinkTheLefty (talk) 20:16, October 6, 2024 (EDT)
