World 8-5 is the seventh level of World 8 in New Super Mario Bros.
Layout
This level takes place around a volcano. There is a lot of lava, as well as many rolling rocks. Podoboos jump out of the lava, and generic enemies (such as Goombas and Koopa Troopas) also appear in the level. Since this level is relatively short, there is no midway point.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: On a low rolling rock below the Hard Block platforms, guarded by a Podoboo.
- Star Coin 2: On the left edge of a tilting platform, where the player should jump on one of the red Koopa Troopas on the tilting platform and kick its shell at the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 3: Next to a high rolling rock, obtained by jumping from the lower rolling tock to the higher one.
