The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! - Volume Two
The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! - Volume Two is a British and Irish DVD release of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! containing 5 episodes of the series. The DVD was released by Maximum Entertainment (under license from BVS Entertainment/Fox Kids Europe) on August 30, 2004 as part of the Fox Kids/Jetix Best Sellers line.
The DVD contains the following episodes (in production order):
- "Mario and the Beanstalk"
- "Love 'Em and Leave 'Em"
- "The Great BMX Race"
- "Stars in Their Eyes"
- "Pirates of the Koopa"
The cover was a normal generic cover used by all of the releases in the Fox Kids Best Sellers line, featuring an image of the show in the middle of a colored border (for this release, the border was Dark Blue). The exact same cover was used for the VHS release of Volume One.
Both Volume One and half of Volume Two were re-released in 2005 into a compilation DVD called The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! - Mega Disc.
Errors
- The episode "Two Plumbers and a Baby" is listed on the packaging, but is not included on the DVD itself.
- When pressing "Play All", it will only play the first two episodes before returning to the menu.
- The back cover of the DVD features artwork from The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 and a mirrored screenshot of the Super Mario World television series episode "Gopher Bash" instead of using pictures from The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!. The same applies to two more British DVD releases by Maximum Entertainment: The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! - Mega Disc and Robokoopa.
