The Gingerbread Clock is an artifact from the Mosque of Mohammed Ali. In the PC, SNES, and NES versions of Mario is Missing!, it is one of the objects Koopa Troopas stole from Cairo for money.
Information
- Boy: "Doesn't that seem from another time? King Louis swapped Mohammed Ali for an Egyptian obelisk."
- Tourist: "I came to the mosque to see the twin minarets. That was gone so I used my watch to see the minutes."
- Reporter: "Mohammed Ali built his mosque in the Citadel for security. The clock's face says it's time to return it."
- Scientist: "The Mosque of Alabaster was built in 1830. That clock doesn't work."
- Policewoman: "That gingerbread clock belongs in the Mosque of Mohammed Ali, top of the Citadel."
