Glitch list

I feel very awkward starting off this talk page, but if the "Stuck in a Cannon" glitch is more of an annoyance, then why is it listed under glitches in this game?

MortonBoo99

Because it is a glitch, even if it's annoying. --TucayoSig.png The 'Shroom 21:15, 27 February 2013 (EST)

New Glitch

I was playing NSMBW and found a glith. You know how Mario hops out when you complete a level? Well, I played World 3-4, with the red blocks on, and took the "secret exit". Then, It returned me to the map with Mario just standing there, along with 99 lives! Is this a glitch or not?

It doesn't sound like a glitch to me. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 22:19, 1 May 2013 (EDT)
Sorry, though I thought that it was a glitch. Blue Toad on Red Yoshi artwork YoshiToad04 Yoshi and Toad playing hockey

Please explain 'Double Mario'

The explaination does not make sense. --Hiccup (talk) 05:27, 1 December 2014 (EST)

I think I got the gist of it (Following the steps cause the other players to display as duplicates Mario and weird shit happen when entering a level), but I seriously have no idea what the original writer meant by "If a player unlocks a Toad House with a Star,". --Glowsquid (talk) 15:24, 1 December 2014 (EST)
Yeah, I got really confused at that bit. He hasn't responded to me starting a conversation on his talk page yet. --Hiccup (talk) 06:25, 2 December 2014 (EST)

One guess is that he means using the Starman powerup on the world map before opening a path to a Toad House...?

Worst case, just delete it. We don't need to do this much mental gymnastics over a poorly-written entry on a low-priority namespace. --Glowsquid (talk) 09:30, 2 December 2014 (EST)

Mini Mario Holds a Propeller Block?

Is this a glitch? Can't mini Mario always hold stuff like propeller blocks and barrels? In my experience, Mini Mario can hold everything normal Mario can.--WilliamFrog (talk) 19:03, 20 July 2017 (EDT)

Sorry about how late this response is, but I can confirm that Mini Mario can pick up everything normal Mario can (I tested with Barrels, POW Blocks, Ice Blocks, Propeller Blocks, and Springboards). I will remove that glitch from the list. --A sprite of a Flame Chomp from New Super Mario Bros. Wii.TheFlameChomp (talk) 18:26, 31 July 2017 (EDT)

Infinite Coins crashes.

On April 18 2015, a YouTuber called Yoshiguy8 has uploaded a YouTube video that implies that the game will crash if there are exremely many coins onscreen, [1] </ref> if there are two frozen Koopas on the ground.

Seems like it does; I've added it. Zero Suit Samus costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 21:23, 12 October 2018 (EDT)

Double Mario glitch doesn't work!

So, i have this game on the Wii, and i tried all these glitches as well as some i found on my own, and all of them worked except for the Double Mario glitch, no matter how many times i've tried it, and every glitch has a SOURCE but not this one. So this is not a glitch. It doesn't even WORK. - 𝔹𝕚𝕘𝔻𝕒𝕟𝕚𝕖𝕝ℂ𝕠 2:25pm Saturday December 15th 2018 (EDT)

Other glitches

In World 4-1, you can swim underneath the level. Also, Yoshi can pass the flagpole in World 4-5. There is also a camera glitch in World 7-Tower, in which you can get stuck under a ledge and the camera won't catch up.

Infinite Items Fake

I have copied all the requirements for the glitch (reloading a save, finishing 6-castle with all world 6 star coins, and then dying in 6-6) and I got nothing. This is likely a cheat code or some sort of game modification that this person used either maliciously or accidentally.

Something's wrong...

I'm pretty sure there's a typo in the empty bubble glitch. It says the bubble "fill float away" instead of "will float away". 184.190.131.102 19:24, July 12, 2024 (EDT)
