Layout

This level is snow-themed, and begins near a series of Star Lifts. A ? Block containing a power-up is located above the Star Lift. A Koopa Troopa is then encountered, along with another Star Lift above two Goombas. Two more Goombas are then found, and are followed by more Star Lifts above a pit, as well as a Paratroopa. Koopa Troopas and some Goombas are then found on a section of land. Coins can be found hidden in sections of the ground. Another Star Lift is then found, followed by a Piranha Plant on a row of Brick Blocks. More Goombas and a Koopa Troopa follow, along with a row of Star Lifts that leads to the Checkpoint Flag. Some Star Lifts can be found above a row of Munchers, and there is a ? Block containing a power-up. A Paratroopa is then found with a Green Ring. Another row of Munchers is then found, with Star Lifts and Note Blocks above them. Some Star Lifts are then found over a pit, with coins and a ? Block above them. More Munchers are then found with Star Lifts above them, and a Brick Block containing a Super Star is found in a wall below. More Star Lifts are then found, along with the Goal Pole.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: The first Star Coin is in mid-air, after a series of Star Lifts. Mario and co. must bounce off of the red Paratroopa or use the Flying Squirrel Suit in order to reach it.
  • Star Coin 2: After an area of Star Lifts, the second Star Coin is found on top of the highest ledge. Mario and co. must use the Flying Squirrel Suit to fly under the ledge that has a Brick Block with a beanstalk in it. Mario and co. must climb up the beanstalk and jump across some Star Lifts to reach it.
  • Star Coin 3: Near the very end of the course, the Star Coin is hidden in the ground, after a row of Munchers. The Super Star or Nabbit is required to reach it.
