Black Mage is seen in several Final Fantasy games, created by Square Enix. Though physically weak, Black Mages are known for thier ability to cast powerful black magic. These spells are often elemental-based, with spells like Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder. They also are able to cast more destructive spells, such as Flare and Meteor.
In Mario Hoops 3-on-3, Black Mage is an unlockable character that can be obtained by winning a gold trophy in the Rainbow Cup. He is one of several characters from Final Fantasy, the others being Ninja, White Mage, Moogle, and Cactuar.
