Well it was sad that Xzelion left this wiki, because of interests of sports. ._. Maybe he was tired about this large wiki of us anyway and kinda became grumpy, and was replaced by me and Cobold, funny thing that I'm the youngest crat so it's possible that he had too much things going on in his life I dunno... And oh! I heard he mentioned that he will momentarily return the wiki just for a visit, but most likely won't take his position back. Anyway, Hooktail's glad I'm a crat and wait. . . It's time for... This is the entertainment section, and I'm RAP! You know me alright; by my friends... this is the section where you take a nice coffee break (not really! XD) and play one of those games I reviewed for your entertainment pleasure, . Like after school... or during midnight... or you know what I meant! Once again, this is Hooktail. Yes, apparently we appeared closest friends in my mansion. *sigh* That demon, used to terrorize Petalburg, one of the places in the kingdom I used to live in called Rougeport. Yes, it used to be like medieval stuff... I was royal and blah blah blah... Until something more powerful ruined me and my family's chances to live in peace. Today, we live in like well normal beings; although my dragon loves to devour her prey. Anyway, two games in a train are comin' right up! *goes* Oh wait, I'm in this room where I talk about the games. *sits in his medieval chair*
Super Mario Kart Racers
Ah, one of the rarely few racing games we all love from racing to courses and to *gasp* items!! The gimmick is items, items, ITEMS! It's the part of the game where you get to throw stuff, like a pencil... *smug* Yeah, a pencil. *snickers* This one of the racing games made by fans once again in MFGG. It's Super Mario Kart Racers! Fans, I know what you're thinking by the name, "Hmm, man another dumb Mario Kart game that can barely work. Sheesh! Try something else!" You, you are so wrong!
This Mario Kart fan game exceptionally touches our gaming hands being used on controllers that is. The areas like the courses are from Super Mario Kart, but there's a major twist in this game! This racing-action-war-fast pacing-pack comes in more characters, the packed retro mixed of the original Super Mario Kart, battle arenas for players to foe and foe on, and the most important thing in core it had happened... Items, items, items!!! This game brings the old items back into this fan game along with some new items. There are items such as Roto Disc, which can protect you and also knock a driver if near to one, the Eclipse, similar to the Blooper... But! The player can only see himself from the whole surroundings as pitched dark, and the POW Block, which stuns the drivers if used, I wonder if the drivers can hop their karts to avoid this lost cause.
The interface strictly sets in a 2D race course instead of 3D which can be a bit of a pain not having the 3D common elements in the game's core. The driver's controls are rather limited also, because of the 4 way directional keys instead of the analog stick we all love with the exception of Mario Kart DS, it sure can be frustrating for some of us. And yet worse, some of the NPC racers lack racing properly. Let's just say I'll let Hooktail ruin the track... Yet, it's a full game.
This game is created by... supermariokartracers? I am not joke king! This is possibly the worst nickname, or the best. IMO, feels untouched unless you put "Team" in like "Toodles Team". Yeah, that's it. If you want some expanding kick-off fun with the simple rules of Mario Kart racing, drive there if you are under 18.
Heh heh heh, that game was fun. ^_^ And I see your playing it with your own claws Hooktail. Wait, playing with it? I wonder how she managed to play that game, oh well... Next game!
Super Mario Galaxy 2D Demo
Hmmmmm, say, what's the catch about this 2D game? It's nothing serious like a fun game, the latest game Super Mario Galaxy *record screeches* Wait! In a 2D game?! Sounds like a catch? But this is a demo folks! So maybe there are two catches, maybe? I dunno? Which one? Which where? Well apparently there's a possibility. I mean, just look at this! A 2D game inspired from the latest game, in a demo version! OK, this is getting too long! *Hooktail agrees by blowing fire minorly to Ryan's tail* Yep, moving ON!!!!!! *a short moment later Ryan and Hooktail are just hanging out together in Ryan's room* Very funny Hooktail. Sneaky you, *mutters himself* "Just like me I bet, apart from her tricks she used 3 years ago. But this one's for me to be targeted..." Continuing,
Super Mario Galaxy 2D Demo is a 2D game inspired from the latest game that would blow our platforming minds Super Mario Galaxy. This game packs in some innovation touch with ideas from SMG, such as the Bee suit that Mario wants to be in! That er, slingshot you can use when you get on and sling off with your mouse! And yes, the Star cursor is also you're lucky controller to play with in some kind. And halt! In some obvious cases this is a demo, so it means that this is not the final version and meaning that not all the elements from the other game are imported here in 2D mode. There are still things to do at this time, finding out the composed game. From secrets, to moves, to platforming with Mario.
Here are three stars to collect in the demo; all have to do with the same in the calmest place, Honeybee Galaxy. One is Goomba's Revenge I think, it's where you have to find the location of the Star, simple yes? Find out yourself. And there's also Purple Coins! The fun of collecting those 100 coins of them, almost like my dragon hoarding her own treasure. And that Pipe Maze level, pretty much self explanatory. The game is missing some features from the other game, but this is a demo! Play while this game provides you the gameplay! The game's controls can be a little off but you‘ll eventually live with it.

I bet all the users in there are going to be terrified anyway. I like watching when you devour, ^_^. So, if you want some 2D platforming based off Super Mario Galaxy, click "Here! Hooky got it!" Hooktail mentioned quickly. Hey!
"Say, you're telling me about something Hooktail... Do you want to be in part of my section?" Ryan questioned, starring at her head.
"Maybe... what's the catch?" Hooktail looks around,
"Ah, want to hang with me more often? OK, I'll try giving you a part of my section, for some reason it only takes games from MFGG for now." Ryan mentioned, thinking of his own relationship with her.
"Thanks." Hooktail smiled, "Come on you little Koopaling, let's see the stars, it is midnight you know. And midnight's the time I can go do my things after a while." Hooktail suggested, she formed a smug towards him to put some charm towards him.
Hooktail and Ryan arrived at the mansion's roof with Hooktail's support, supposedly the roof is castle like anyway since his mansion resembles as a castle. They lay down their own bodies onto the floor and stares at the stars relaxed for a while, enjoying relationship together.

Donkey Kong Wii
- Main article: Donkey Kong Wii
Donkey Kong Wii is still without information. Some are even questioning this games existence, as no information has been revealed in about two years, now. It will, apparently, be an Adventure Donkey Kong game, similar to Donkey Kong 64. Donkey Kong is playable, of course, but nothing else has been confirmed.
No release dates yet, so the wait continues.
Dr. Mario's Virus Buster
- Main article: Dr. Mario's Virus Buster
Dr. Mario's Virus Buster is a game coming out for the WiiWare system being released on the Wii. The player uses Dr. Mario, and has to drop Megavitamins onto the field, in a Tetris-style. Matching up the colors will destroy the Virus’, apparently. I don’t know much about the original Dr. Mario. Miis can also be selected instead of Dr. Mario, and Wi-Fi Connection is included in the game. Not much else is known, however.
Like Donkey Kong Wii, there is no release date for this game yet, like all WiiWare games.
Mario Kart Wii
- Main article: Mario Kart Wii
Mario Kart Wii (tentative title) is the Wii installment of Mario Kart series, being released with the new Wii Wheel controller. This new controller will allow players to experience driving in a more realistic way, but not to the extent where you actually think you can drive a car. Mario Kart Wii also has Wi-Fi Connection to play people from across the world.
The basic gameplay is the exact same, it seems the only difference is the controls. Nonetheless, a few additions have been made. For instance, there are now at least 12 racers in each race, rather than 8. On top of that, players can now select multiple different karts for themselves, ranging from Hot Rod’s to Motorcycles. Race courses, both old and new, make their way into new generation graphics, with just as many gimmicks as previous Mario Kart titles. The courses, or circuits, are split up into different Tournament Cups, in a similar fashion to the last 5 Mario Kart games. Currently, we know of the Mushroom Cup and the Flower Cup for the new circuits, and the Shell Cup and the Banana Cup for the classic circuits. There will also be a Battle Mode, where rather than race, players fight to defeat each other by any means necessary. Items, an age old gimmick used in the Mario Kart series, return to the race. The effect of the items varies from item to item, for example, a Green Shell can be fired at a player from behind or ahead, but it only goes straight, while a Red Shell does the same, but homes into the player, except when firing backwards.
March 15th, 2008 is the first release date, and its for America. Japan and Europe will be the second Country’s to collect Mario Kart Wii, obtaining the game on April 10th, 2008. Australia will also get the game sometime in April of 2008, but an exact release date is not known.
Super Mario Stadium Baseball
- Main article: Super Mario Stadium Baseball
Super Mario Stadium Baseball is the Wii sequel to the popular Nintendo GameCube game, Mario Superstar Baseball. However, at this current moment, information is scarce on this game. Usage of the Wii’s interactive capabilities has not been confirmed yet, neither has the inclusion of Wi-Fi Connection.
So far, all the characters seen in the game were present in Mario Superstar Baseball, with no new Captains or Team Players confirmed, as of yet. Additionally, only three stadiums are known to be in the game – Mario Stadium, Yoshi Park and Wario Field. The fact that the stadiums are named after the Captains of the game is similar to the previous installment of the series. The return of Special Balls has been confirmed, and it appears the Sub-Captains now have Special Ball powers different than those of the Captains.
Information on the game is fairly low, possibly meaning the game isn’t very far into production. As such, we have no release dates at this current point.

Director's Notes
Ahem, lot's of thing happened on this wiki last month. Previous 'Shroom Director Plumber (talk) grew tired of his position and organisated an election. After a long electorial process, I was chosen to be the new 'Shroom Director.
About this month issue, the "Fun Stuff" section now posses two new writers. InfectedShroom (talk) now host a "Find the Difference"-style game and King Mario (talk) now coauthor the Riddles with Storm Yoshi (talk). Both the Upcoming Games and Monthly report section makes a comeback, although the former will be slightly late. The New Fake News Director 3Dejong (talk) decided to delay the Fake News because a few section were late. Sorry for the inconvenience. Anyway, for all the 'Shroom writers out there, the next 'Shroom issue is due March 8th.

The World has Ended!Yes indeed! The Apocalypse has come in all of its world-ending glory, leaving us to totter in the afterlife! A stray Toad, wearing sandals, was seen walking about the corridors of the Mushroom Castle, carrying a sign inscripted with "THE WORLD ENDS WHEN SUPER MARIO GALAXY COMES OUT". And it did indeed! After Bowser' huge orbital sun collapsed upon itself, the entire universe was sucked into a black hole. While swirling about in the dust and gloom, we came upon Mario, who screamed "It's-a mee meee mee meeee meeeeeee..." as he was sucked into the inky darkness. Some random Toads sucked into the maelstrom along with us, the Fake News Dig-Up-Dirt-Team, the people writing this, were interviewed. Many of these Toads thought that the universe was simply going through a "re-creation" stage, and all would be well once the happy little singing stars plugged the hole. (The fact that everything happened the way they said it would carries no weight here.) Some simply screamed, like this young fellow: "DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" - Random Toad Swirling in the Black Hole Come to think of it, that little Toad had pretty long ears... and a belly button... and a plunger... But all that is behind us. Now we can live happily in this beautiful paradise created for us in the afterlife. Wait, this just handed to us! This is the "re-creation" those Toads talked about! We aren't dead! Hurrah! Oh, this also just handed to us... we're fired... *sigh*... Local NewsDisappearing Wikians PLUMs. Missing in inaction. 'Crat RiseAfter the abovementioned retirement of Xzelion, two new bureacrats have been promoted. Young RAP, known for his tireless work organizing Wiki pictures and for his extremely large pet dragon (yes, DRAGON) has been given this honor, as well as the very active editor Cobold! ObituariesKoopley (1960-2008) Koopley, a pacifistic Koopa living in serene Petalburg, died last week of what appears to be starvation. Locals say that Koopley got in an argument (‘’pacifistic?’’) with his son (Koops, 15) over who was taller. “Dad said he was taller ‘cause his eyebrows were bigger than mine,” Koops said to reporters. “He said that he was gonna go to the only place he could call home.” After a long and depressing interview with Koops, reporters discovered that Koopley went back to live in Hooktail’s belly. Because Hooktail was dead, there was no food supply coming in regularly for Koopley. Apparently, Koopley could not escape Hooktail’s stomach and soon thereafter died of starvation.
Don Pianta was whacked last night after being made an offer he couldn’t refuse. “Da Boss was killed last night.” Frankie said last night. “Uh, we’re gonna make da peoples pay for what dey did to ‘im.” But when Frankie was asked for his opinion on Pianta’s death, he responded, “Quit askin’ me all da questions, or youze is gonna get whacked too! … I mean, if you pry too much inta da mob’s business, ya neva know what’ll happen.” Pianta’s bodyguard, Rocky told reporters, “I tink Frankie did it. He was askin’ da Boss about the secret family lasagna sauce, but da Boss didn’t tell ‘im about it so I tink Frankie did it.” Whether or not Frankie did do it is a mystery.
Last Tuesday, an unnamed mushroom died of a fungal infection. Ladida Plains General M.D.s did nothing for the poor mushroom. “It’s just a mushroom,” one M.D. said, “and is it so surprising for a fungus to die from a fungal infection?” Reporters asked, “Was it the work of a poison 'shroom?” The M.D. responded, “No! Mushrooms are a fungus! Get over it!” He then said, “Nurse, bring me a frying pan! I’m having a fried ‘shroom for dinner!” |
Fake TVYoshi's AttackA new television series based on a true story, created by Wayoshi in order to bring attention to the wicked acts of Yoshis. Purple Yoshi, armed with a magic paint brush given to her by Professor E. Gadd, took control of Yoshi's Island and now is acting like a maniacal moron. So Raphael the Raven and Hookbill the Koopa, two incredibly neglected guardians of the Yoshi's Island castle, set out on a life-changing mission to kill Purple Yoshi and save the island. Hookbill the Koopa, who is now filming a new movie, Paper Koopa (2009), was interviewed about his role in the show; "I'm very glad to have been able to bring attention to the serious problem of maniacal Yoshis. We enemies of SMW2 have been highly neglected over the past two years, and now that I have been discovered as a great actor I'm filming my first movie, which I will be paid a lot of money for." Purple Yoshi has launched a campaign to take this show off the air, but it failed miserably. The show is currently airing on MTM (Mega Television Maniac). The Old and the RestlessThe Old and the Restless, a new spin-off of the popular Mario Wiki Adventures television series, aired last Friday to much fanfare. The stars of the show, Cranky Kong, Professor E. Gadd, and Xzelion, pose as three retired old hags who were previously stars of their own television shows. During the events of Seasone One, the trio reminisce over old times and they were all having big adventures. Professor Frankly even co-starred in episode 3, as one of Professor E. Gadd’s old college roomates. Xzelion was briefly interviewed on this matter, but the Mushroom Hospital for the Criminally Insane asked us to keep this interview strictly confidential. All of Season One has already been filmed, but Xzelion will not appear in Season Two due to a heart attack. Instead Plumber, another retired user of the MWA, will be taking his place in the next season. That’s all the information we have now, but be sure to watch the Old and the Restless, weekdays at 3! |
