Same character as Charlieton?

It seems like Flamm might be intended to be an equivalent to Charlieton from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, judging by their somewhat similar appearances (both having pink toned skin and wild brown facial hair) and the same Japanese name. While they’re most likely not literally the same character, it seems like they’re likely a similar case to Merlon and the other Shaman characters, who appear with different appearances and roles across the first three Paper Mario games. Merlumina is a character part of the "Merlon family" whom the wiki now considers to be the same character as Madam Merlar, owing to having somewhat similar appearances and roles and the same Japanese name.

The best argument I can see against merging is the presence of Flimm, whose role in the game is actually more similar to Charlieton’s than Flamm’s, despite having a distinct appearance and Japanese name, but who is also a direct counterpart to Flamm. This is a big problem, to be fair, though it’s not completely unlike the Merlon family members changing roles between games, so a merge might still be worth consideration? -- Pseudo (talk, contributions) 11:59, May 24, 2024 (EDT)
