Is there an article for the Beetle game purchased from this Toad? Perhaps that would be a better place for this information. Culex 21:24, 6 April 2010 (EDT)

He's on the Characters list.So why doesn't he deserve his own article?Dry Bones in Paper MarioCount Bonsula I need blood...Ml2 drybones.png

It's not a big deal either way. Do you know if we have an article on the Beetle mini-game though? Culex 21:50, 7 April 2010 (EDT)

Name change[edit]

I feel Like Beetle MAniac would be a better conjectural name. Who agrees? User:Mecha-Boss Unit

I agree. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
Beetle Manic? Why not something like Beetle Mania Toad, since he teaches you the Beetle Mania game (unless I'm wrong, since I don't know much about the sidequest stuff in SMRPG). Fawfulfury65

Name change redux[edit]

I know the above convo is pretty old, but I'm partial to changing this to "Beetle Maniac" or "Beetle Mania boy" since Super Mario RPG predates the common use of "Toad" for the race, and the remake generally adheres to that (well, except for "Cinder Toad" I guess). Cinder Toad's name was Hinopio in the original release, so you might be on to something. I think that "Beetle Mania Kid" would make a bit more sense for the title, as the similar-titled Mushroom Boy looks more like a standard village toad than a small one.
I think "boy" would be a little closer to the mention here, but we can go with something else if that sounds a little too close to the other "Boy". LinkTheLefty (talk) 13:28, April 1, 2024 (EDT)
Although, come to think of it, the "Beetle Mania" part should also be changed. He's obviously supposed to have swapped the "Beetle Mania" cartridge for another one to continue playing his Game Boy. I'd say "Game Boy player" but that needlessly overlaps with the Game Boy Player article, so maybe "Game Boy kid"? LinkTheLefty (talk) 10:38, April 11, 2024 (EDT)
