• Wrecking Crew '98 (pictured) was released internationally for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System - Nintendo Switch Online application on April 12, 2024, marking its first official release outside of Japan.
• As announced on October 4, 2023, Nintendo Network was terminated on April 8, 2024 at 5:00 PM PDT, discontinuing online play and functionality on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. This also indirectly made it no longer possible to redownload purchased DLC released for Nintendo 3DS titles.
• Princess Peach: Showtime! for the Nintendo Switch was released worldwide on March 22, 2024.
• In a video presentation published by Nintendo on Mario Day, Shigeru Miyamoto and Chris Meledandri announced that Illumination is producing another movie "based on the world of Super Mario Bros." planned to be released on April 3, 2026 in most markets. The presentation further reveals the release dates for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, which are set to release on May 23, 2024 and June 27, 2024 respectively; as well as Dr. Mario, Mario Golf, and Mario Tennis for the Game Boy - Nintendo Switch Online application, which were released two days after the video.
