Green Hill Zone
Green Hill Zone is an area (and the first level) in the game Sonic the Hedgehog. The Green Hill Zone however also has made an appearance in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. In the "Gallery" section of the game, one of the two backgrounds for the Count Master mini-game is the Green Hill Zone. The other background is a background of the Mushroom Kingdom from New Super Mario Bros.. The Green Hill Zone appeared in the second, fourth and final level of the Count Master game. The background music of the Green Hill Zone can be optionably be heard in the game, once it has been unlocked.
The Green Hill Zone as well appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a unlockable stage. To unlock it,the player must unlock Sonic the Hedgehog. In the stage background, Miles "Tails" Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, and Silver the Hedgehog can appear running around the loop-de-loop. If the terrain is attacked too often, it will collapse.
