Move to "Creepy-Crawly"?[edit]
While they have the internal filename of Snail, one Talking Flower in the level Swamp Pipe Crawl has the quote, "So many creepy-crawlies!". Another page relating to Super Mario Bros. - About that... no, the flower just says something on the line "they are crawling on the walls" (I'll check later the full sentence), but most definitely no names: they never uses the names for enemies and items (a part from that sleepy Goomba in 1-1). --

Move to Maimai[edit]
While Maimai is (apparently) just japanese for snail, it is still the correct name. We even have precedence for this kind of naming with the enemy Kōmori from Mario vs. Donkey Kong, as Kōmori is (apparently) japanese for bat, yet the wiki still calls it Kōmori. BiggestMan

- The difference here is that these apparently have an internal name ("snail"), and because reasons internal names that happen to be in English are given priority over Japanese names. Kōmori doesn't have that. Blinker (talk) 16:50, January 2, 2024 (EST)
