Big Blowout is a 4-Player and Duel minigame in Mario Party DS. This minigame involves players blowing on the Nintendo DS mic in order to blow out lit flames.

Gameplay

Each player stands in front of their own row of lit candles. To advance, players must blow on the system's microphone; this in turn blows out candles. The more air the player blows, the more flames extinguished at a given time. The maximum number of candles that can be blown out at a given time is three. However, players cannot use the Mic while they are jumping from candle tip to candle tip—only when they stop. The player to extinguish all their candles and cross the finish line first wins.

Ending

At the end of the game, the winner is seen performing their victory animation in front of a bunch of lit candles. The losing players are not seen.
