The VHS cover

The Great BMX Race is a VHS release of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!. It was released by Kids Klassics in September 1989. The VHS is 30 minutes long, and contains the animated segment "The Great BMX Race" alongside two live-action segments, "Mama Mia Mario" and "Dance".

The front cover showcases Mario and Luigi riding on their two-wheeled bike in a desert. The back cover showcases a similar piece of artwork of Mario and Luigi riding, while Toad appears in a white cart attached to the bike. The back cover's artwork is noticeably of lower quality than the front.

Blurb

To save Toad's life, Mario and Luigi are tricked into a disaster-strewn Boy's Motor Cross bicycle race with three of King Koopa's sneakest minions. The wild ride is Koopa's wicked scheme to get the Mario Brothers out of his way once and for all.
