Pit Chamber
The Pit Chamber in the Tomb Suites.
Floor Tomb Suites
“Ah, a classic trap you'd find inside a pyramid!”
Professor Elvin Gadd, Luigi's Mansion 3

The Pit Chamber is a location in Luigi's Mansion 3. It is found in the Tomb Suites on the tenth floor of The Last Resort, located at the very bottom of the pyramid.

When Luigi opens the sarcophagus in the Altar Chamber, he discovers Serpci sleeping, though she quickly wakes up, startling Luigi and causing him to fall onto a platform before the tomb. Serpci rises out of her sarcophagus and stretches just before a hole opens up beneath Luigi, dropping him into the pyramid, where he lands in the Central Chamber. The cobra platform he is sitting on retracts, causing him to fall all the way to the bottom of the pyramid, landing in the Pit Chamber. He lands headfirst into a pile of sand, and when he gets up, he gets a call from Professor E. Gadd on the Virtual Boo, informing him the signal had cut out for a moment. He tells Luigi to find a way out and to watch out for traps in the pyramid, then hangs up.

The Pit Chamber is filled with sand. There are spiders on the wall and snakes buried in the sand. Luigi must get to the bottom of the chamber, near the southwest corner to find a statue. Once he fixes its pose, the statue's eyes glow and one of the pillars at the right end lifts up to reveal the Hidden Passageway. The room starts filling with sand, and Luigi must use the Poltergust G-00 to blow the sand to the right, allowing him to reach the tunnel.

Once Luigi escapes the Pit Chamber, it cannot be revisited due to the entrance being inaccessible.
