Lava waves debuts in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, where it appears in two levels. In World 8-3 (New Super Mario Bros. Wii)|World 8-3]], lava waves constantly move to the left. In World 8-Bowser's Castle, lava waves are created when Bowser stomps in lava.

Super Mario Galaxy 2
