The 'Shroom:Issue XCVII/Opening Statement
Hello, readers and writers! We are here with our April 2015 edition of The 'Shroom, and I hope that you will enjoy what we have this time around. I would like to take this chance to thank all of our writers for helping out and would like to welcome Walkazo (talk) and Viper26 (talk) to our writing staff teams. Their submissions are featured in the Palette Swap and Pipe Plaza sections, respectively, so be sure to check out their great work!
Firstly, as I have mentioned in the past several issues, we are expanding our subscription services and will be posting regularly on our social media platforms. Please be sure that you and your friends follow us on Facebook and on Twitter! Additionally, if you are interested in receiving e-mail updates from us, please fill out this form here. Social media is a great way to show your support for The 'Shroom and to make sure that you are kept up-to-date with our latest happenings– we will post when there are new issues, special announcements and events, and writing spots available!
Additionally, we will also continue accepting suggestions for Issue C all the way up through June. The Suggestions Box form set up over here, so be sure to submit your ideas! The 'Shroom staff is starting to review the ideas that have been received, and so far there are several interesting recommendations that we are going to try to make happen. After all, the Special Issue is designed for you, so we are always happy to take what the readers want and implement it. We will start unveiling some ideas and projects that are going to be implemented for Issue C within the next couple of months, so stay tuned!
Otherwise, there is not much else regarding this issue that I have to discuss. Once again, I hope you all enjoy what we are presenting this month! Be sure to check out the Closing Statement for news regarding next month.

As Retro Feature was the only standalone section submitted last month, the section will receive the Section of the Month for March 2015 designation. Do not be fooled, however; even though the section has won by default, each month's Retro Features are always outstanding and most certainly qualify to receive this honor. That said, a huge "thank you" goes to Yoshi876 (talk) for consistently producing invaluable, high-quality submissions for our paper! The 'Shroom would not be the same without your hard work.
