Critic Corner Director’s Notes

Palkia47 (talk)

To all ‘Shroom readers:

I hope you are all having a fantastic January so far and I hope you will enjoy and are enjoying this month’s issue of the Shroom!

Unfortunately, there is no Critic Corner section this month due to receiving no sections for this issue. Because of that, CC’s “Section of the Month” section will be put in with the main issue’s “Section of the Month” page. I sincerely apologize to all fans of Critic Corner and all readers of the ‘Shroom.

Tucayo's Notes

HI EVERYBODY, and welcome to the January Issue! I'm your beloved Co-director, Tucayo. Now, let the nonsense begin!

By now you have probably noticed I like clichés, so I will start this section with one: By the time you read this, I will be long gone. Well, not exactly long gone, but I will have already retired. I did not want to leave before the term ended, but things usually don't go as planned; luckily for me, I'm leaving because of a great opportunity, so I hope that's a valid excuse for not doing the news this month.

Instead of the usual news, I will use this section to just say thanks to every single one of you. To all the readers, writers, and core staff members who ever were part of this project in the past 67 issues. They are way too many for me to name them all, so I apologize in advance if I miss any. I wish I could say I thank everyone equally, but it would be impossible for me to deny I have to especially thank three users: Stooben Rooben (talk), Glowsquid (talk), and Super Mario Bros. (talk), they all are really important for me. Stoob was basically my 'Shroom sensei, or Jedi master, or something along those lines, I pretty much learned most things 'Shroom-related I know from him, and he gave me my first shots at leading the paper; Glowsquid was the one who first let me in the newsletter, and he even let me write three sections, so thanks for that; and well, SMB has pretty much been my 'Shroom better-half for the past years, so there's no way I could have done this without him.

But it would be foolish to say they have been the only users who have helped me in my 'Shroom run, I'd like to also thank Ralph, 02, Marioguy, YY127, Edo, Paper Pikachu, Yoshario, 2257, Gamefreak, Xp, FF65, MCD, Dippy, P_Y, Shoey, Smasher, Pi, Funky, Perch, M4E, Packy, and Pi for all their help while they were part of the Core Staff; sometimes people think it's the Director who does all the job, but truth is we would probably collapse into a corner and cry if we didn't have this wonderful team behind us. I guess I could just summarize this section in one word: thanks; but if I want to get into politics when I grow up, I have to learn how to say the simplest of things in a long speech!

And I guess that does it for me.
Keep reading The 'Shroom.
Eat Healthy.
BYE!
