Template:More images Template:DDRMM song Pirate Dance is a playable song in Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix. It is an arrangement of the Ground Theme from Super Mario World.

The background of the song is similar to its counterpart, Fishing Frenzy. In it, Mario and/or Luigi are fishing and dancing on a small island with a Bob-omb-shaped shop with pirate decorations. However, in Pirate Dance, it is nighttime, and there is a campfire next to the player(s).

Pirate Dance's only gimmick in Mush Mode is Cheep Cheeps, which jump horizontally into a column midway up it, giving less time to hit the correct direction.

In Story Mode EX, Pirate Dance serves as stage 2-2, Pirate Island EX. It is a dance-off against a pirate Lakitu for the Boogie Booster, a lucky charm that will allow the SS Brass to pass through a whirlpool blocking the path. The Lakitu behaves like a playable character, but cannot be controlled in this or any other mode.

Story Mode EX text

It's a fishing battle against Lakitu. Who will be the one to catch the most Cheep Cheeps!?
