History
The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3
Bowser's Airship, referred as the Doom Ship, appears regularly throughout The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3. Like the airships in Super Mario Bros. 3, the Doom Ship is equipped with a large amount of artillery and also possesses a trait not seen in any games featuring Airships: the ability to teleport to other locations. According to the bonus disc on the Shout! Factory DVD set, the Doom Ship was built by Kooky von Koopa.

Bowser's Airship, now colored white and purple and heavily decorated, appears in Super Mario Odyssey. The airship has undergone a small redesign, now sporting fifteen propellers instead of five, sails, what appear to be Power Moon tanks and a variety of smaller embellishments. Rather than the usual theme, the new airship theme from Super Mario Maker for the Super Mario Bros. style plays during scenes in which it flies away.
