Super Mario Attack (スーパーマリオアタック, Sūpā Mario Atakku) is a redemption arcade game developed by Banpresto in 1996 based on the 1990 SNES game Super Mario World. This arcade game was released only in Japan.
Gameplay
The gameplay involves landing Caped Mario on items of different value in medals. The player has the option of doubling or tripling their bet. They must dive within 15 seconds. If the player hits an enemy or falls into a pit while diving or runs out of time, they lose. If the player wins, Mario, Yoshi, and Princess Toadstool appear onscreen.
