The first theme heard in the game wouldn't necessarily make it the base theme, though. "Bob-omb Battlefield" has been named the "main theme" for Mario 64 in the official soundtrack and in Smash. Mario JC 01:28, September 28, 2019 (EDT)

That's the thing. You don't SEE how they sound familiar, you HEAR. Plus the sectioning is pretty similar to both the main theme & slider. Super Mario 3-D World goes IAAB. Super Mario 64 Slider goes IAABC. Super Mario 64 Main Theme goes IAABC. Saying I is a short way of saying intro. SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) (talk) 08:14, February 13, 2023 (CST)
