Obstacles are transparent objects found in the Ground Control microgame, the Paper Plane minigame, and Paper Airplane Chase. When a paper plane collides with an obstacle, it crashes. Obstacles can have different sizes, and they are usually connected to a wall.
In the Ground Control microgame, obstacles have a shadow. Their size is affected by the difficulty. In the redesigned version of this microgame in WarioWare Gold, obstacles are made out of flowers.
