Donkey Kong Hockey is one of the few 2-Player Game & Watch games. Donkey Kong and Mario must engage each other in a two-player game of Ice Hockey. It was released in 1984[1]. The game was set up on a small LCD screen; the game was colorless. The console was an elliptical shape, while the controllers were small and circular; the console could open up to store the controllers.[2]
Controls
- Controller 1: Controls Mario.
- Controller 2: Controls Donkey Kong.
Buttons
- Circle Button: Slams ball towards opposing player.
- D-Pad: Moves characters up, down, left, and right.
In-Game Features
- Referee: A referee will occasionally appear to change the course of the ball.
- Crazy Spots: If the ball passes through one of these points, it will rapidly increase in speed and change its current course.
- Ball: The item that must stay in play in order for a player to win.
