Booty and the Beast

Booty and the Beast is the episode of the Donkey Kong Country TV series that aired on September ^13th, 1998.

Plot Synopsis

The episode begins with Kaptain Skurvy and his mates sailing to Kongo Bongo Island, in search of the Crystal Coconut. Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong get trapped on their pirate ship trying to stop the pirates. Skurvy first mistakes the apes of stow-aways, and captures them. The apes are to be executed by the captain, until they are set free by Klap Trap, who winds up getting his teeth back, and this means disaster for Skurvy and his ship.

Trivia

• The title of the episode is an obvious spoof on Beauty and the Beast. The "beast" was probably Klap Trap.
• This episode was merged with several others in the VHS release of Donkey Kong and the Legend of the Crystal Coconut.
• Despite the fact that Skurvy's ship is destroyed, totally eaten by Klap Trap, it returns in future episodes, seemingly unharmed.
