Shorty Scorers is a 2-vs-2 minigame in Mario Party DS.
Gameplay
The minigame is very similar to Handball. At the start of each point, the ball is dropped at the center of the field. One player can then grab it and then proceed to bring it to the goal. At the goal, there is a cardboard cutout of a Goomba, serving as the goalkeeper. If the ball gets past the Goomba, a point is scored. The game continues exactly the same way for 45 seconds. When the time has ran out and the game ends, the winning players will be seen in the front, doing their victory dance, with the losers behind them. If both teams have the same score at the end of the minigame, it results in a tie and all four players display their losing animations.
