Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Dinner is a macaroni and cheese product from Kraft Foods consisting of dry macaroni and powdered cheese. In the 1990s, there have been a few promotional tie-ins involving the Mario franchise. The first tie-in, which occurred some time in 1990, was centered around the first Super Mario Bros., and its box specified it as pasta and cheese. The second tie-in involved the greater Super Mario series, most notably Super Mario World. Despite this, it was titled Super Mario Bros. Macaroni & Cheese in advertisements and retained the Super Mario Bros. title on the box. The front box of the second tie-in product had artwork of Cape Mario, a form which originated in Super Mario World.

Both Kraft tie-in products had gameplay advice branded as "power tips." The first tie-in product had these in the form of a collectible cut-out card on the back of the box, which had only one of 20 different types of power tip cards. The second tie-in product had the entire back of the box dedicated to a numbered power tip. Boxes with the second power tip dedicated it to secret areas in the Space Zone, and was illustrated by a few custom-made graphics.

The first tie-in product had six different shapes: Mario, Magic Mushroom, Starman, Pirana Plant,[sic] Bowser, and Princess Toadstool. The second tie-in product retained the same shapes but added in Yoshi as a seventh shape. The spelling for Piranha Plant was also fixed on the box.
