- Version 2.12.0 for Mario Kart Tour was released on March 2, 2022, which added Mii drivers for the Mii Tour on March 9, 2022.
- A new update for Nintendo Switch Online now includes a Missions & Rewards section that allows users to purchase icon parts to create unique icons to use as their profile image. Available for March are Super Mario Odyssey and Animal Crossing: New Horizons icon parts.
- Nintendo has announced that purchases on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U will no longer be possible as of late March 2023.
- In a Nintendo Direct broadcast on February 9, 2022, Mario Strikers: Battle League (pictured) was announced for the Nintendo Switch and is set to be released in June 2022. The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass, an expansion pack for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe featuring 48 additional remastered courses from previous Mario Kart games, was also announced and will be released over six waves by the end of 2023, with the first wave releasing on March 18, 2022.
