その時です。 突然、スカイポップが攻撃をうけました。攻撃してくるのは仲間だったドンドンです。

ゆだんしていたマリオは、たらまち撃ち落とさきれてしまいました。

English translation:

But no matter how long it flew, Mario's castle couldn't be found. "That's funny. It's supposed to be around here, but..."

That's when it happened. Suddenly, the Sky Pop was attacked. The attack was by the friendly Dondon.

Mario was caught off guard, and was shot down at once.
