Name?[edit]

Where in-game does it say Challenge Coins? The only source I found in-game are when selecting one of the pipes you get when you have collected them all which calls them color coins. "Note that the color coins you collect won't be included in the records." it says. --Raltseye prata med mej 00:25, 6 April 2017 (EDT)

They're referred to as Challenge Coins in this video. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 00:36, 6 April 2017 (EDT)
Okay, but shouldn't what's used in-game precede pre-release material then? --Raltseye prata med mej 07:07, 6 April 2017 (EDT)

If colored coin has to all be lumped within one article despite being each split with their own name in the source, why is this different in that regard? Just like them, they all share a basic function of granting 10 coins and appearing in different colors. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 23:50, 16 January 2019 (EST)

The only difference I can see is that in SMR the colors are an indication of difficulty, with the easier color coins unlocking the harder ones, while the differently-colored 10-coin pieces in WL3 are purely for variety. Dark BonesSig.png 02:42, 19 January 2019 (EST)
They seem to be found close to their respective-colored keys and chests.... Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 02:45, 19 January 2019 (EST)
Those aren't split either. In fact, I just realized that the treasure chest article completely lacks a Wario Land 3 section. Dark BonesSig.png 03:05, 19 January 2019 (EST)
...and now I'm annoyed so few people seem to have played that game.... Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 03:14, 19 January 2019 (EST)
