This is a list of the 76 Power Moons (70 regular Power Moons and 2 Multi Moons) that can be found in the Wooded Kingdom of Super Mario Odyssey.

6 | Back Way Up the Mountain |
Near the Iron Mountain Path, Station 8 checkpoint, the player can find a low platform with an Uproot and some Rock Blocks. Mario must capture the Uproot and use him to destroy the Rock Blocks located in the corner in order to find a hidden passage with an 8-Bit Pipe. 7 | Rolling Rock in the Woods |
Near the Odyssey, the player can find a rock between four bushes. If Mario destroys this rock, he will receive a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
8 | Caught Hopping in the Forest! |
Near the Odyssey, the player can find a rabbit. If Mario catches the rabbit, he will receive a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
9 | Thanks for the Charge! |
At the Forest Charging Station, the player can find a glowing spot on the right-most charging station. If Mario ground pounds this spot, a Power Moon will appear. | Available after collecting the "Flower Thieves of Sky Garden" Multi Moon. |
10 | Atop the Tall Tree |
In the south-eastern corner of the kingdom, the player can find an Uproot next to a tall tree. Mario must capture the Uproot and use it to climb up the tall tree, where a nut can be found. If the player destroys the nut, they will receive a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
11 | Tucked Away Inside the Tunnel |
In the south-eastern corner of the kingdom, the player can find an Uproot next to a tall tree. Mario must capture the Uproot and then return to the river in the opening area of the kingdom. The player must then head upstream and locate a nut located high up on a wall. Using the Uproot, Mario can reach the nut and destroy it, revealing a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |

Near the Summit Path checkpoint, the player should look for a hidden path behind the cliff wall. 13 | The Nut 'Round the Corner |
Before reaching the Iron Road: Entrance checkpoint, the player should look for a hidden iron path near Talkatoo. Mario should traverse this hidden path to find a nut, which will reward a Power Moon once destroyed. | Available from the start. |
14 | Climb the Cliff to Get the Nut |
From the start of the kingdom, the player should look for the river and follow its path upstream. At the top end of the river, the player will find a cave with a lever and and door. If Mario activates the lever (by throwing Cappy at it), the door will open, allowing him to access a hidden cliffside with an Uproot. Mario should capture the Uproot and use it to climb up the cliffside and find a hidden nut. Destroying the nut will reward the player with a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
15 | The Nut in the Red Maze |
While traversing through the Iron Road, the player should look for a nut hidden in a corner of the maze. If Mario destroys this nut, he will receive a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
16 | The Nut at the Dead End |
From the "Road to Sky Garden" Power Moon, the player should locate a hidden iron path located underneath that Power Moon's location. If Mario reaches the end of this hidden path, he will find a nut that will reward him with a secret Power Moon once destroyed. | Available from the start. |
17 | Cracked Nut on a Crumbling Tower |
Between the Iron Road: Halfway Point and the Sky Garden Tower, the player can find a side path made of collapsing platforms. If Mario can traverse these platforms and reach the end of their path, he will find a nut, which will reward a Power Moon once destroyed. | Intended to be available after collecting the "Road to Sky Garden" Power Moon, but can be obtained from the start using skilled jumps. |

19 | Fire in the Cave |
From the Iron Road: Entrance checkpoint, the player should head through an opening between some iron bars along the left side, where a scarecrow can be found. Mario must throw Cappy at the scarecrow, which will open the nearby door and allow access to the cave behind. In the cave, the player must defeat the Fire Bro, which will reward Mario with a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
20 | Hey Out There, Captain Toad! |
From the Observation Deck, the player must capture Glydon and use him to glide to a distant island to the east. On this island, Mario can find Captain Toad, who will give the player a Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Defend the Secret Flower Field!" Multi Moon. |
21 | Love in the Forest Ruins |
Near the Forest Charging Station, the player can find a field of Goombas. Mario must capture one of the Goombas and then use it to create a Goomba Tower, which can be used to reach Goombette, who is located on a high platform nearby. If the player uses the Goomba Tower to interact with Goombette, she will give the player a Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Flower Thieves of Sky Garden" Multi Moon. |
22 | Inside a Rock in the Forest |
Near the Summit Path checkpoint, the player can find a Sherm on a lower cliff platform. Mario must capture the Sherm and then head back near the Odyssey, where a dirt rock can be found. If the player destroys this dirt rock, they will receive a Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Defend the Secret Flower Field!" Multi Moon. |

25 | Stretching Your Legs |
Inside the Sky Garden Tower, Mario must capture an Uproot and take it to the top of the central column. 26 | Spinning-Platforms Treasure |
Near the Secret Flower Field, the player should look off the eastern cliff edge to find some hidden iron platforms below. Mario must jump down to these platforms and then traverse across the rotating platforms here in order to reach a Warp Pipe, which will take the player to a secret room containing a Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Flower Thieves of Sky Garden" Multi Moon. |
27 | Make the Secret Flower Field Bloom |
Within the Secret Flower Field, the player can find three groups of un-bloomed flowers. Mario must throw Cappy at all three groups of flowers in order to bloom them all (before they un-bloom) within a short amount of time. 28 | Rolling Rock in the Deep Woods |
At the southern end of the Deep Woods, Mario can find a rock that he can break. If the player can break this rock, they will receive a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
29 | Glowing in the Deep Woods |
In the Deep Woods, the player can find a scarecrow near the pool of the river. Mario must throw Cappy at the scarecrow, which will cause a Power Moon to temporarily spawn nearby. The player must then collect the Power Moon before it disappears. | Available from the start. |
30 | Past the Peculiar Pipes |
Along the eastern wall of the Deep Woods, the player can find a Warp Pipe, which will take Mario to a small pipe maze. If the player can successfully traverse through the pipe maze, they will receive a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
31 | By the Babbling Brook in Deep Woods |
In the Deep Woods, the player can find a T-Rex roaming around. If Mario can lure the T-Rex to charge into a solid wall, it will get knocked out, allowing Mario to capture it. The player must then take it to the north-western corner of the Deep Woods (left of the river's origin) and use it to destroy the large rock here. This will reveal a glowing spot on the ground, which Mario can ground pound to reveal a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
32 | The Hard Rock in Deep Woods |
In the Deep Woods, the player can find a T-Rex roaming around. If Mario can lure the T-Rex to charge into a solid wall, it will get knocked out, allowing Mario to capture it. The player must then take it to the south-eastern corner of the Deep Woods (right of the river's end) and use it to destroy the large rock here. This will reveal a glowing spot on the ground, which Mario can ground pound to reveal a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
33 | A Treasure Made from Coins |
In the Deep Woods, the player should look for a hidden Coin Coffer on a small hill. Mario must capture the Coin Coffer and then take it to the pool of the river. Here, the player can find a small plant sprout surrounded by coins. Mario must shoot the sprout with about 500 coins in order to have it fully bloom into a flower, which will give the player a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
34 | Beneath the Roots of the Moving Tree |
Along the eastern wall of the Deep Woods, the player can find a small pine tree. If the player captures the tree, they can move it out of the way to reveal a glowing spot on the floor. Mario must then ground pound the glowing spot to reveal a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
35 | Deep Woods Treasure Trap |
Near the southern end of the Deep Woods, the player can find a Warp Pipe coming out of a large tree. Mario must enter the pipe to find a room with three treasure chests. If the player opens them in the correct order (center, left, right), they will receive a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
36 | Exploring for Treasure |
At the northern end of the Deep Woods (where the river's origin is located), the player can find a locked door being guarded by a Steam Gardener. In order to enter this door, the player needs to wear both the Explorer outfit and the Explorer hat. Once Mario enters the room, he can find a treasure chest in the center of the room. Opening it will reward the player with a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
37 | Wooded Kingdom Timer Challenge 1 |
Next to the Iron Road: Halfway Point checkpoint, the player can find a scarecrow. Mario must throw Cappy onto the scarecrow, which will temporarily reveal some poles and a Power Moon above them. 38 | Wooded Kingdom Timer Challenge 2 |
At the Forest Charging Station, the player can find a scarecrow on the left-most charging station. Mario must throw Cappy onto the scarecrow, which will temporarily reveal some platforms and a Power Moon above them. 39 | Flooding Pipeway |
Near the Iron Road: Entrance, the player can find a pool of water with a submerged Warp Pipe. Mario should enter this Warp Pipe and then reach the end of the secret area within in order to receive a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
40 | Flooding Pipeway Ceiling Secret |
In the area with the "Flooding Pipeway" Power Moon, the player should look for an opening in the ceiling. Mario must enter this opening in order to find a small alcove with a hidden Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
41 | Wandering in the Fog |
Near the Forest Charging Station, the player can find a Mini Rocket on an iron platform. Mario should capture the rocket to be taken to a secret area covered in fog, where he must find and collect five Moon Shards. 42 | Nut Hidden in the Fog |
In the area with the "Wandering in the Fog" Power Moon, the player can find a nut hidden behind an iron platform on the northern side of the area. If Mario destroys this nut, he will receive a secret Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Flower Thieves of Sky Garden" Multi Moon. |

From the Summit Path checkpoint, the player should head to the back side of the large sloped ramp, where a hidden door can be found. 44 | Flower Road Reach |
In the area with the "Flower Road Run" Power Moon, the player must capture a Goomba and then use it to create a Goomba Tower. 45 | Elevator Escalation |
At the Summit Path checkpoint, the player should locate a hidden door at the top-right side of the large sloped ramp. 46 | Elevator Blind Spot |
In the area with the "Elevator Escalation" Power Moon, the player must capture a Sherm at the start of the area and then use it to shoot and destroy a hidden rock located on the back wall. 47 | Walking on Clouds |
Near the Secret Flower Field Entrance, the player can find a Steam Gardener that will give a seed once activated. Mario must then carry this seed to the large seed pot on the Observation Deck. This will take him to a secret area in the clouds. If the player reaches the end of this area, they will receive a Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Defend the Secret Flower Field!" Near the Odyssey, the player should look for a picture of the Koopa Troopa hosting the Koopa Trace-Walking mini-game in the Sand Kingdom, along with two bushes north of his location. If the player then returns to the Sand Kingdom, locates these two bushes and ground pounds next to them, they will be rewarded with a hidden Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
51 | Swing Around Secret Flower Field |
On the west side on top of the Secret Flower Field gate, Mario can find a golden rod where he can descend to a crumbling walkway in which he must then Long Jump to the red pole ahead. Mario will have to jump to and from a series of poles until he lands on a set of grey Brick Blocks with a Key and P Switch on them. The key will unveil the Power Moon on the east side of the gate, and the P switch activates a flower road that leads Mario directly to the Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
52 | Jammin' in the Wooded Kingdom |
By the stream above the waterfall located southeast of the kingdom, the player can find a Jammin' Toad. Should Mario talk to the Toad, he will request that the player play a specific piece of music related to "sky-high coins aplenty". The Toad will reward Mario with a Power Moon if the player selects the "Above the Clouds" theme from the Music List. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
53 | Wooded Kingdom Regular Cup |
At the Forest Charging Station, the player can find a Koopa Troopa hosting the Koopa Freerunning mini-game. Mario must enter the race and then reach the finish line in first place to be awarded a Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
54 | Peach in the Wooded Kingdom |
At the Observation Deck, the player can find Princess Peach. Talking to her will reward Mario with a Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom and talking to the Toad outside Peach's Castle (Mushroom Kingdom). |
55 | High Up in the Cave |
This moon is located inside the small cave connecting the woods to Steam Gardens proper. Due to its elevation, Mario must either capture an Uproot to stretch toward it, capture a Fire Bro and jump as a Fire Bro, or perform a variety of jump techniques (such as a Ground Pound Jump and a Dive Jump) to reach it. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
56 | Lost in the Tall Trees |
There is a tall pine tree in the eastern woods with a wooden platform attached, and a wooden crate on said platform. Mario can either head to the Observation Deck, capture Glydon, and release capture, then ground pound the crate to release the Power Moon, which lands over to the golden rod nearby the Summit Path, or capture a Sherm below the Summit Path and destroy the crate with a Sherm. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
57 | Looking Down on the Goombas |
This moon is inside a nut on top of the tall iron wall nearby where Goombette can can be found. It can only be reached by capturing Glydon and flying west to the nut. Afterwards, Mario must then simply break the nut open to obtain the Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
58 | High Up on a Rock Wall |
On the Iron Road, there is a nut high above the trio of grey brick blocks nearby the red iron maze. Mario must use an Uproot to stretch to the brick blocks, then stretch to the nut to open it and release the Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
59 | The Nut in the Robot Storeroom |
Inside the storeroom with the off-duty Steam Gardeners, there is a nut above both the entrance and two Volbonan tourists. Mario can reach it by stretching toward it as an Uproot. Opening the nut unveils the Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
60 | Above the Iron Mountain Path |
West of the Iron Mountain Path, Station 8 checkpoint, there is a small cliff. Traveling north from there across a brittle iron pathway leads to another cliff with a P switch, which when activated, reveals a flower road leading to the Sky Garden Tower. On the way there, the flower path will lead Mario directly to the Power Moon, high above the start of the Iron Road. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
61 | The Nut Under the Observation Deck |
Underneath the northeast corner of the Observation Deck, there is a nut so high up on the wall, that a fully stretched Uproot alone can't reach it. As an Uproot, Mario must find a row of four Hidden Blocks against the wall, allowing Mario to stretch from said blocks up to the nut where the Power Moon lies. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
62 | Bird Traveling the Forest |
This bluebird holding this Power Moon flies around the Iron Road, Sky Garden Tower, and the Forest Charging Station. The player must find a place where the bird flies closest to their footing for the best chance of the player being able to throw Cappy to the bird and revealing the Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
63 | Invader in the Sky Garden |
The player must defeat the Yoofoe on top of Sky Garden Tower to obtain this moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
64 | Hot, Hot, Hot from the Campfire |
Nearby the lake where Talkatoo is found, a Volbonan tourist set up some firewood but can't start a fire. Mario must find and capture a Fire Bro., then return to the said firewood to light the Volbonan's campfire. A Power Moon appears upon lighting the firewood. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
65 | Wooded Kingdom Timer Challenge 3 |
West of the Iron Mountain Path, Station 8 checkpoint, there is a small cliff with a scarecrow. Throwing Cappy on it temporarily reveals an obstacle course along the the wall heading west. The path consists of two moving lifts and two bars to swing on. The player must reach the end of the course and grab the Power Moon before time runs out. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
66 | Moon Shards in the Forest |
Five Moon Shards are scattered throughout the red iron maze in the Iron Road. Collecting all five reveals the Power Moon right next to the Iron Road: Halfway Point checkpoint flag. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
67 | Taking Notes: On Top of the Wall |
On top the southeast portion of the natural wall surrounding the southern forest, a rainbow treble clef can be found. Touching it reveals a very long trail of notes leading all the way back to the where the Odyssey lands in this kingdom. Due to the rather tight time limit, Mario must roll along the trail to cover more time, but he must also be cautious as the path gets narrower near the end, and could risk falling off course. The Power Moon appears near exactly where the last note is, after Mario has collected all the notes. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
68 | Taking Notes: Stretching |
Along the northern wall below the Iron Cage, there is another rainbow treble clef. The set of notes revealed vaguely form a "V" shape, and most notes are best reached by stretching upward as an Uproot. The Power Moon revealed also has a high altitude that can best be reached by an Uproot. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |

At the Forest Charging Station, the player can find a Koopa Troopa hosting the Koopa Freerunning mini-game. On the northernmost tower of the region, the player can find the Bonneter biologist who wants to see an Uproot up close for research purposes. Mario must find and capture an Uproot then travel to where the Bonneter awaits where he will reward Mario a Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
71 | Invisible Road: Danger! |
To the left of the "Path to the Secret Flower Field" Power Moon, the player can find a Moon Pipe which leads to a bonus area. In this bonus area, Mario must walk across an invisible pathway while avoiding Poison Piranha Plants. At the end, he must defeat three Big Poison Piranha Plants to unlock the Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
72 | Invisible Road: Hidden Room |
In the area with the "Invisible Road: Danger!" Power Moon, the player must go to the part with the invisible rotating platform and find a hidden invisible platform with a small alcove. Inside this alcove is a treasure chest containing the Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
73 | Herding Sheep Above the Forest Fog |
Near the Forest Charging Station in the area with the Goombas, the player can find a Moon Pipe which leads to a bonus area. In this bonus area, Mario must lead a sheep through a short series of obstacles to a circular area which can be reached by climbing a pole. Mario will be rewarded with a Power Moon if done successfully. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
74 | Herding Sheep on the Iron Bridge |
In the area with the "Herding Sheep Above the Forest Fog" Power Moon, the player can find a Warp Pipe in a hidden alcove near the sheep's pen which will take Mario to an area with another sheep and a P Switch. Mario must hit the P Switch and then quickly lead the sheep to the same pen before the P Switch's effect wears off. If done successfully, Mario will be rewarded with another Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
75 | Down and Back Breakdown Road |
Near the Iron Road: Entrance, the player can find a Moon Pipe on a wall which leads to a bonus area. In this bonus area, Mario must run across many breakable blocks which can be destroyed by the many Bullet Bills found here. At the end, Mario must collect a key and go back to where he started in the area to collect the unlocked Power Moon. Even in Assist Mode, Mario will die if he falls into the bottomless area. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
76 | Below Breakdown Road |
In the area with the "Down and Back Breakdown Road" Power Moon, Mario must get to the end of the area and drop down to the lower level. He must then capture the Banzai Bill found there and fly back to the start into a wall made of breakable blocks where the Power Moon is found. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
