WarioWare (microgame)
Template:Minigame-infobox WarioWare is one of the microgames in 9-Volt's Nintendo Classics level in WarioWare: Get It Together!
Gameplay
A game system with no game appears on the left side of the screen while one hand holding a WarioWare game and two hands holding similarly shaped objects float in at random speeds from the right. To clear the microgame, the player has to attack the hands that are not holding the game to eliminate them, after which the correct hand inserts the game into the system. If the player eliminates the correct hand or lets any of the other hands reach the system, they fail the microgame.
- Level 1: A WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$! disc must be inserted into a Nintendo GameCube. The two incorrect hands hold baumkuchen and an doughnut. After the game is inserted, a television playing the GameCube startup animation appears.
- Level 2: A WarioWare: Touched! Game Card must be inserted into a Nintendo DS. The two incorrect hands hold a Wario-themed eraser and a jigsaw puzzle piece, both of which have a similar shape and color to the Game Card. After the game is inserted, the DS turns on to show the game's title screen.
- Level 3: A WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! Game Pak must be inserted into a Game Boy Advance. The two incorrect hands hold a matchbox and an eraser, both of which are Wario-themed and have a similar shape and design to the Game Pak. After the game is inserted, the Game Boy Advance turns on to show the game's title screen.
If a second player is utilized in this microgame, the game system may appear on the right side, and there is an extra incorrect hand holding a donut (also held by one of the other hands), computer chip, and digital camera respectively for each level, all of which have similar colors to the corresponding game.
The music that plays in each level is an arrangement of the corresponding WarioWare game's title theme (menu theme in the case of Mega Party Game$!). The floor color in each level also matches the color of the Japanese packaging of the corresponding game (pink, yellow, and blue, respectively).
Suitability
- 5-Volt can instantly teleport to the fake object to knock them out.
- Kat and Ana's constant jumping may inadvertently cause them to knock out the actual game instead of the fake objects.
Trivia
- Despite the European/Australian version of the microgame changing the color of the WarioWare: Touched! Game Card to reflect the color difference between versions of the original game's packaging (yellow instead of orange like the North American version), the microgame's description still refers to Mega Microgame$! under its North American name as opposed to its European/Australian name, "Minigame Mania". This error is also present in the description for Gold Digger in the European/Australian version of WarioWare: Touched!
- This is the only long microgame in WarioWare: Get It Together! that does not end early if the player wins within half the time.
