In her story, Penny had just finished making the Jet Tank One in her lab and gives it a test run when she receives a call from Dr. Crygor. She quickly flies to WarioWare, Inc. using the water cannon and enters the game. Inside the game, she boards a pink helicopter and flies to Wario's crew. She soon combines the Golden Beehive, Golden Toilet Paper Roll, and the Golden Holey Mug into a Golden Watering Can. After she fills the Golden Watering Can with water, it floats towards a nearby toilet and waters it, causing a massive beanstalk to grow from the toilet hole. Penny suggests climbing it, believing that there must be something at the top.
The Jet Tank One has a different form of control from other flying characters. By tilting in a direction, Penny sprays water toward that direction, with the recoil of the water cannon pushing her the opposite direction. Pressing 
allows her to hover in midair, which negates the recoil of the water cannon. Pressing again cancels the hover, allowing her to move again.
The Jet Tank One can affect microgames that involve water, fire, or heat physics. These microgames include:
- Foggy Glasses: Penny can spray water in the food containers to put out the steam.
- Sanitation Station: Penny can spray water on the hands without turning the faucet handle.
- Face Wash: Penny can wash the man's face without using the water in the sink.
- Water You Waiting For?: Penny can water the plant without using the watering can.
- Doggone Thirsty: Penny can spray water directly in the dogs' mouths without moving their tongues.
- Hot Hoops: Penny can put out the fire from the rings, rendering them harmless.
- Manneken Pis: Penny can out out the fire without using the Manneken Pis.
- Cheeky Beaker: Penny can fill the beaker using her water cannon.
- Flammable Goods: Penny can put out the fire using her water cannon.
