So other than being the same color, the pipe item from Mario Pinball Land that prevents Mario from falling between the flippers is totally different from the pipes in the Paper Mario series that serve as shortcuts, so the two should be in separate articles. If this page is supposed to cover all instances of blue Warp Pipes, then where is the coverage for the blue pipe from Super Mario Maker 2? RHG1951 (talk) 16:30, February 14, 2021 (EST)
- I agree that these should be covered in separate articles. In fact, it would be nice if we expanded the current coverage barring Pinball Land to include all fast-travel pipes in Mario RPGs, as there are actually many instances of them.

- On the contrary, this entire article should be merged with Warp Pipe. I know jack about Mario Pinball Land, but I'm guessing the blue pipe item is the only pipe in the game, since there is no Mario Pinball Land section on the Warp Pipe article and no images of them in the game's gallery. On top of that, the name of the item in that game is just "pipe." As for the Paper Mario games, I don't recall them being called "blue pipes" in those games either, but regardless, they're just blue Warp Pipes. They do not warrant a split. Sure, the color is specifically used for the sewer shortcut pipes, but that doesn't change the fact that they're just a color variant.

- I agree with at least merging the Paper Mario information to Warp Pipe, not to mention the layout of the article is incredibly messy with Mario Pinball Land being covered first and then the first two Paper Mario games which both came before MPL. I barely know anything about MPL either, but someone who does could help decide if that is article-worthy.
