Bone Dragon
Bone Dragons are large dinosaur skeletons that Yoshieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee^^;eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees encounter underground in the game Yoshi's Story. Bone Dragons spit fire and can sometimes be found in groups of three. The weak spot of a Bone Dragon is found on their head, meaning a Yoshi will want to Jump on top of them and Ground Pound to defeat them. Another way to defeat a Bone Dragon is to hit them multiple times with eggs.
An underground cavern on Yoshi's Island, called the Bone Dragon Pit is also explored in Yoshi's Story; as it's name would imply, the Bone Dragon Pit is infested with Bone Dragons. Super Smash Bros. Brawl has a sticker of a Bone Dragon that raises attack by thirteen. It can only be used by Yoshi, Wario and Pokemon Trainer.
Trivia
- Bone Dragons resemble skeletons of the monster from Greek mythology known as the Lernaean Hydra, a serpentine/draconic monster with multiple heads.
- In the beta version of Yoshi's Story, Bone Dragons weren't skeletal at all and were purple and orange colored, multi-headed and were less sinister looking.
- A skeletal dragon resembling a Bone Dragon makes a small appearance in Mario Party 6 in Snowflake Lake, where it is frozen in a lake.
