Jungle River

The Jungle River, more commonly known as the Jungle Puddle, is an area in the Jungle region of Yoshi's Story. Since Yoshi's Story takes place before Super Mario World, the Jungle Puddle may, in fact, be the Forest of Illusion's river, the actual jungle being the forest. Eels swim along the river for the first screen, and it's very wise to stock up on fruit here, as later on you'll meet the Blurps. One Blurp will jump out and eat you, killing you in one hit, while the other, blue Blurp will try to knock you into the water where it will eat you. This level is probably the most annoying one in Yoshi's Story, as you can lose many Yoshis...The background music consists of many "hups" from a possible jungle tribe, as well as a steel drum.
